Crazy hot weather today. Still 86 at 6:07!!

Down here at the shore we reached a record breaking 93 degrees. I live close to the beach so traffic was so bad.

I really wanted to spend some time at the beach but then came our mail lady with two packages. One package were live plants (new variety Echinaceas), and the other package were calla bulbs from Ella's group buy from the other site. So ended up planting those bulbs and taking care of the live plants.

I did managed to stroll down the boardwalk this afternoon.

Lucky to live near the ocean...wish I did today...it hit 91 at 3:30....weather forecast is for 30s by Sat. morning....the plants aren't going to be happy!

It's going to "cool" down in our area starting tomorrow. 60's upper 60's in the next few days. But nowhere we're going down in the 30's. Whew!

Me too! I'm hoping to get my four clems in today. Possibly a small tree or two too. (Tutu?)

Been raining since 5pm yesterday. Currently seems to have stopped. It's in the 40's today.

Here in southern Vt it is about 80.. But fine for raking and cleaning. Off to the nursery now to see what goodies they have in stock. Patti

Tell me about it! Yesterday shirt sleeves, today coats! DH forgot his coat this am. He's paying for it now, work is right on the lake and it's breezy!

it has been pretty cool here since lunch and now the wind has kicked up and getting cooler - thx goodness! - this rain will be nice since i have fertilized and moved a bunch of stuff around here.

Some passing thunder, loud enough to rattle the glassware in the cupboards.

No..too early for thunder! Although it was 80, it felt better out there, & I got a lot of planting done.

the temp must have just dropped 10 degrees... wind is kickin now and then.. maybe I will be able to breathe again!!!

57° and the wind is from the South @ 15mph here.

57 now... and that's our high for today... feels good now... showers now.. and rain most of the day

It's 54 & showering here....we needed the rain, can't believe how dry the soil had become.

Wow, you guys had some crazy weather while I was gone. It was sunny and from 83-86 every day in Orlando. Last day was partly cloudy.
