Partly sunny and 70. Low 80's on Wed for my first group hike. Yikes.

Loving this weather! My daffs are gorgeous. My tulips are getting ready to bloom (if they don't get eaten first). Yay!

70 and sunny, cats are loving the open windows!

73 and sunny. Windows open here, too, but mom still has her sweater on and a blanket around her legs. Windows not open in her room either.

I moved some things around, digging some things out to give to DIL. Why did I start some ivy eradication when there are so many other things to do? Using a pickaxe. My hands hurt so I'm taking a break.

I know what that's like Jan... try and take it easy

Did not get yard work done this afternoon, sad because I will be limited for awhile. Report to the hospital at 10 am tomorrow. Oh well, at least I don't have a 3rd eye. Temp near 70° but an onshore sea breeze.

Cloudy 46* heading into the mid 60's w/showers later on in the day.

52 with dark overcast. Pushing 80 later.

52° Haven't watched the TV, so not sure of prediction.

Yes, really. I'll be dying on my hike tomorrow. More normal temps at the end of the week.

72*F already, going to 80. We had a nice soft shower last night, near perfect day coming, just a bit too warm. Ric

Temp is 65 degrees at present. Overcast and a few very light rain showers as the warm front goes by today. Ridiculously warm temps for tomorrow, mid 80s, and then back to more normal temps by the weekend.

close to 80 again today, calling for 40 and winter mix by Fri. Yuck!

Some rain this morning and by 1:30 the bank said 87. Too hot, too soon!!! It is steamy! I kept the house closed up and it is still relatively cool in the house.. I melt in steam!

Only reached 65° here and from what I'm hearing about 80°+ in some other places, I'm not complaining either! (lol!)

Nice shore breeze?? Was in the mid-70's here. Got more work done. The end of cleanup is finally in sight!

Thunder and lightening woke me up around 2 am last night. Strange to see lightening in April.
Sunny 46* now, will hit 69 today w/scattered thunder showers.

Clouds and fog with temp of 50 degrees and a light SW wind. Should burn off shortly and high temp is predicted to be 88 degrees in my area. Totally nuts. Another odd thing considering all the rain last week and the soil so damp underneath is we have brush fire cautions up. The surface has dried out and the air temps are high with low humidity, so combined with all the dead winter debris makes for a perfect equation for shallow fast moving brush fires.

did not hear rain last night although there may have been some lighting here around 11 while i was watching the sox game.

Sun has gotten rid of the fog and clouds. Temp already 65 degrees. Went out to biff some more grass and it is feeling really warm out there in the sun. Did about 25 sq. ft.,I will do a little at a time throughout the day and hope to get it done today, we shall see. Want to get the amendments turned in tomorrow before the rain comes on Friday. Hope to get a few things planted this weekend with the cooler temps.

Oh my goodness I completely agree Victor. It is just stupid hot for the first week in April. 86 degrees here as well. Five minutes pulling grass and you are drenched. Not even close to being used to this stuff yet.

82° here & I have not been outside since my Dr. s visit this moring. DH out weeding, since I am not yet allowed to bend over, I'm no help this week.

Luckily it will be leaving. Only 55 on Sat - in other words, normal! This is like mid-July.

90 in Central Park. New record.
