I think what Deb and I saw were starter plants that GM does themselves.Thousands of them.
I talked to the owner last Friday and she said their plants wouldnt be ready until April and their ordered plants from Proven and Monrovia would be on display outside at that time too.
I will go back in mid April and take my list with me.I had good luck with small plants last April. They are easier to plant when in the 4 inch pots.
2010 Garden Photos - Part 2
I like the striping on those crocus, Victor
Nice color on the hellebore, for some reason the plain ivory are the only bloomers in my hellebore mix.
Thanks for the bleedinghear reminder. I'll have to check mine
I am thinking this is the 1 photo per day Victor.
I count more than 1 pix of crocus today.
And to think I am trying so hard.
OOOOPS a geezer moment

Wrong thread.
I cant hear you
I'm in the next room.
lol
I never saw a rose colored pieris before, nice!
nice victor - and that's enough for one day - stop rubbing it in:)
Just getting started.
Victor, Nice crocus, is it, Crocus vernus King of the Striped? I am back in NYC from Ca. Off to the Botanical Garden. Perfect day. Patti
Don't know, Patti. Been there a long time. Have fun at the show!
ok i have one crocus out - looks like the one victor started the thread with - may grab a pick after lunch
color in the landscape (other than brown/green smooshed grass). thanks for sharing victor, I needed that!
Wow Victor I can't believe how much farther along you are than us....you're not that far away! It truly looks like Spring down there. Other than some measly crocus foliage, and daylily foliage next to the foundation, in the sun, there really isn't much sign of life here.
Well, keep in mind that all these shots are from a sheltered, southern-facing area.
Daffodils along the roadside wall have about 5" of growth.
Well i do not know if mine are coming up yet...darn
do you believe even with all that stinkin rain there is still a small pile of snow in my yard next to the deck... give me a break will ya!!!!!!
good news is I think the one agastache is alive that I planted last year... little green growth on the base.. always a good sign!!!
Nice, Victor and JoAnn!
Victor, you have a lot going on at your place. I have yet to see pieris and hellebores open here. Still only the crocus and snowdrops. I'm with Jen, I like the striping on those crocus. Very nice.
Love to hear your agastache made it, Allison!
I got a bunch of shots this evening, but too tired to post now. I need to put together some collages.
Karen
Since DH raked the leaves in front of our stone wall you can really see the action in the daffodils growth. They are really a great planting & joggers & other people love them. Of course they have to put up with the leaves dying back afterwards.
nice JoAnn!!
tnx
How wonderful Ge, you have color!!!!!!! I can't wait to see some here too!
Nice Victor and JoAnn! I saw some new growth on the hellebore yesterday while starting the edging out front. No blooms here yet but lots of green shoots all over now.
I'm off for a garden tour to see what has any color.
Just potted up lilies(staying in the garage) and Begonias (staying in the house)
