It is as warm in the NE today as it is in Southern Ca where I am going on Thurs. I was hoping for warm not 50's and low 60's. Grrrrrrrrrr. But glad I didn't go to Spain.

DH just headed out for spring skiing. It is a Perfect Day for it. Sunny and warm in Southern Vt. Now in the mid 30's and heading up to 42. Tomorrow warmer going into the 50's. Patti

Just dropped from 50 to 49.5. Spent some of the afternoon in the basement revitalizing geraniums (pelargoniums). Also getting my heat mats, lights and timers ready for seed starting in a few weeks. Wind was too strong for a decent walk today. Aw well, one day at a time!!!

Upper 30's here today, with a cold wind, but sunny. Hearing talk about wind driven rain for the weekend. It is fine with me if it is not snow. The gardening bug has bitten..

Nice today, in the 50s...got all of the pine cones raked up & bagged for the brush dump. Am heading to Maine for a few days...sorry it's going to rain there as well as here, but this is the weekend I have to go.

Currently 48*F and overcast which will benefit the local streams and river by slowing the melt a bit. they are running clear and have some space, but a heavy rain could roll them over in a day or less. Nice enough to get out today and access repair some of the damage. Ric

Got to 39 here today, still a cold wind - but sun felt nice and it got to 81 in the greenhouse! Summer!

We had rain overnite but not enough to wet under trees.
Every little bit helps,cause I saw a few galanthus in the snow pile that was 1 foot deep yesterday.
They must send out their own heat rays.
Another warm day here too. 40* now and a high of 57*not much sun.

Mostly cloudy to overcast here. Chance of a shower and rain all weekend. That would be kind of depressing until you realize how much worse it would be if it was that white stuff we do not need to see again until very late in the year. Temp 46 degrees and should get in the 50s for a high. Rain along with above freezing temps should help defrost the soil deeper down and hasten spring a little more. We have had a nice string of warm sunny days so can't complain at all at a bit of beneficial rain.

60 and sunny. Almost all the snow is gone. Calling for rain over the weekend.
