Gypsies new ride

(Zone 5b)

good morning! coffee's on who wants some?

Kenmore, NY(Zone 6a)

I guess I need more coffee! Or a less hectic life. yes, it was DS (not DH) that had the skunk problem. Where's that ROFL smiley guy?? If I just call them Bill, Jacob & Angela would you know who they were?

Flowers, I always thought it was me that Dave had issues with. I think he prefers to keep on task with his flower info over there... I don't think he's much of a chit-chat -er.

Good luck with your house projects JJ & Lynnie. Can't wait to see!

Woodhull, IL(Zone 5a)

Morning,
I'm checking out glasskote to use as a backsplash or using whatever I use for countertops.

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

Smiley, what is the name?

Kenmore, NY(Zone 6a)

It's a plant photo dictionary, I forgot the actual name. I checked it out early on, he's got a bunch of tropical plants with the technical names, similar to what he's done here on occasion.

Very nice info.

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

Does anyone know the name? I have looked and can't find it.

Woodhull, IL(Zone 5a)

Venice I sent you Dmail

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

JJ, thanks. I got it.

(Zone 5b)

glasskote? what's that? sounds nice.

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

I looked up glasskote and it looks like a real cool product.

If you knock something against it will it break? Or is the glass laminated.

It looks like there are seams every four feet. It would be nice to make a nice pattern so the seams aren't so obvious, like make alternating colors, or a checker board with different sizes. Cut it in half horizontally then alternate it with another color. Just an idea.

Didn't look at all the photos on the Internet. But they said they had a lot of different finishes. Is it clear then has some type of backing?

I think it will look really cool. Can't wait to see what all you have done in your kitched so far.

I need to have some lunch. Later!!!!

HOCKEY!!! NOW!!!!

good game Venice! Are you watching? OT!

Woodhull, IL(Zone 5a)

Here Lynnie

http://www.glasskoteusa.com/backsplash.html

Venice you have it custom cut for what ever size you need. That's why I like it no seams or grout lines and made in USA

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

JJ, that's right. They do textured glass walls in long lengths. Are you expecting any hurricanes? It is hurricane proof also!! LOL

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

Lynnie, why didn't they have to play out the full overtime?

Do we at least get the Silver?

Kenmore, NY(Zone 6a)

The first one to score in an overtime game wins. If no one had scored, they would go to a shootout.

Jesup, GA

Hey girls! This is a 1949 tractor DH is restoring. Hop on every one lets go for a ride. Flowers gonna blow ya doors off!! LOL....

Lynnie, I saw an interview with him the other day. How he can hit a puck even with the other end of his stick is so cool. Yes he did a good job. And they were only one goal short.

Dixie, that tractor is looking like a hot rod tractor! Or is that what the innards look like.

(Zone 5b)

Dixie dh wants to know what brand that tractor is and where's the engine, is it going in the front? he's guessing Ford.

(Zone 5b)

good morning everybody! wakey wakey eggs & bakey!

Kenmore, NY(Zone 6a)

I'm up! I'm up! Hey! That's Ryan Miller you're talkin' about. He's OUR goalie, for The Buffalo Sabres.

We knew what we have, he's the best goalie in the NFL. He's awesome, isn't he? Funny thing, the assistant coach for the Canadian team is Lindy Ruff, who is The Sabres' coach. He went up to him after the game, he was the kind-of bald, blond guy.

(Zone 5b)

if it weren't for him the game would have been over before it started. poor guy got hammered. A silver medal is no small thing, either.

Kenmore, NY(Zone 6a)

No, and I'm sure they had way more shots on goal than we did. And he stopped all but 3. When we watch games, we're amazed at what he can do. He's tall, and very flexible. Probably the most eligible bachelor in Buffalo, too.

(Zone 5b)

he looks better out of the crazy-wide hocky gear than in it.

Leicester, NC(Zone 8a)

Looks like Canada whooped our but in Hockey Olympic. Oh well can't win em all! Hey Dixie, that is one souped up tractor, we can plant while we play. Just don't know if my big butte will fit in that little bitty seat behind ya, tell DH we need a side car LOL.

Jesup, GA

Lynnie tell your DH the tractor is a 1949 Allis Chalmers...the engine is on the back. LOL..Flowers! Hey Smiley and V.!!

(Zone 5b)

I said back! I did I did! (jumping up & down!!)

Leicester, NC(Zone 8a)

Ok Lynnie, you big baby, you can have shot gun. I'll run along side and hop on your shoulders when it picks up speed.

(Zone 5b)

flowers I said the engine goes in the back , my dh said it probably goes in the front, I was right.
but I did call shotgun first so I'll take that too =0

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

Is this what your tractor will look like?

Well heard back from the Glasskote people.

They say can't DIY and it cost $75 - $170 a sq ft installed.
Well it was pretty neat but won't be seeing it in my kitchen any time soon. :(

Night All

Leicester, NC(Zone 8a)

Guess its back to ceremic wall tiles huh JJ, thats ok, they have come out with some pretty designs and colors.

Kenmore, NY(Zone 6a)

Good morning! Nice ride, ladies.

(Zone 5b)

JJ I thought that looked expensive! There are some cool backsplashes out there if you don't want tile. HD has some...go in there and check them out.

(Zone 5b)

and good morning! :)

Woodhull, IL(Zone 5a)

Good Morning,
Well that's how it usually goes for me. If I like it, it's the most expensive thing in the store.
I will check those links out Lynnie.

Leicester, NC(Zone 8a)

Morning everyone, hope you all slept well! Yea JJ all that good stuff is expensive, I was looking at the thermoplastic panels they are pretty cool. Still need to find something for behind my stove too. Snowed here last night, took one picture and the camera froze up. Bought bateries at the dollar store and they were dead. Get what ya pay for I guess. Anybody home?

Woodhull, IL(Zone 5a)

Hi Flowers
Getting ready for work. Watched GMA and they had their cooking segment on.
Made unhealthy foods healthy. Brownies made with black beans.
check it out on the GMA website

Leicester, NC(Zone 8a)

Hi JJ, just can't fathom black beans and brownies in the same sentence, you try it and let us know how it taste. Man have big fuffy snow falling here, looks like an ample supply is building, want some??? Venice are you getting it?

(Zone 5b)

it's like Spring here. 44 and sunny!
