I'd like to go out & do "A Happy March Dance" ala Dnut, but the @#$ wind would carry me away---43, but you'd never know it due to windchill---but the sun is shining, & I'm smiling---it's March!

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

no it was a bird feeder - cheap hd purchase - birds like it as it had several feeding holes on it - finches would flock to it and i was 3.5' from this computer

nice picture:)

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

I want to see one that reads, Bill's weed, as in singular!

Nantucket, MA(Zone 7a)

Not one when I was there, and certainly not two.

Rain over, still cloudy, but wind abating a bit. Patti

Southeast, MA(Zone 6b)

Oh gasp, horror! No such thing is there?
As to the weather, the snow coating has disappeared once more. Sun peeking out on occasion. Still very windy but not so strong. Temp is 44 degrees.

Huron, OH(Zone 5b)

42° and sunny. Had to take a break sewing a guys jeans.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

38 looking for a high of 43
snow/rain tonight into Thursday, yuck

Nantucket, MA(Zone 7a)

Wha, why do you want rain???? Had enough, want sun. But overcast. Big Blah Day. 39 F wind at around 10 to 15 MPH. Raking time soon for sure and pruning. Patti

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

i can't believe i am saying this - because my snow is almost gone in some areas of the front yard - rain and the warmer temps would allow me to get going on the spring clean up - we are supposed to get some precipitation.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Gonna be muddy, no Bill?

Southeast, MA(Zone 6b)

Bright sunny morning should eventually give way to mostly cloudy later today. Very light wind today from the NNE. Temp now already 41 degrees. One of the local weather people said by Sunday or Monday we could see 50 degrees! Yippee! I agree with Bill no more snow please, only rain to wash it all away if you got it.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

not in the front only wet - i find the leaves are easier to collect wet although heavier - out back yes it will be muddy in some area - on a slight slope back to the pond so it drys out pretty good

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

It's all cloudy now and colder

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

very nice day here - warm and a LOT of melting - just watch after praying for snow and not getting any we'll get whacked!

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Hush!

South Hamilton, MA

Not until evening. I have some errands to do so hope it holds off. In the 40s today, but not predicted for tomorrow. South shore predicted for the most snow at the edge of the storm.

Thomaston, CT

Did not get out to play---the farm was either mud or snow----am hoping to NOT see another flake of snow till next year---I know, 1-3" forecast for tomorrow.

Eastern Long Island, NY(Zone 7a)

32°, windchill 22°, wind NE 9mph, snow
- wet snow coming down heavily, temps expected to fall throughout the day.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

33 with a mix of snow and rain.

Southeast, MA(Zone 6b)

Coastal storm inching further north than they originally forecast. :( Very wet snow just started to fall. Present temp 31 degrees. Snow amounts 1-3 inches by tomorrow. Yuck! Wind light from the east should get very brisk with strong gusts this evening. Expected high in the mid 30s. Starting clean up in the garden may have to wait a bit longer, bummer.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

28 here right now with some flakes in the air - pat i thought i saw last night the south shore was to get 3-6" if it has dropped to 1-3 that is good - means a dusting here i hope.

Nantucket, MA(Zone 7a)

Wha, you got your wish, at least here. Snowing and blowing....all boats cancelled.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

same here patti - i changed my wish the weather god did not get the memo!

South Hamilton, MA

Still rainy here (we are closer to the coast than Bill is). Need to do some serious shopping before moisture appears as snow.

Southeast, MA(Zone 6b)

Oh ya coast and cape/islands are at the 3-6 range. I am inland enough to hopefully be on the edge of the precip band by evening and dropping temps which is when the most accumulation is expected. Still snowing here lightly but is gathering a little now on the garden and grass. Wind is starting to pick up a bit from the east and temp still just below freezing at 31.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

A couple drops here, couple flakes there, just damp and cloudy really 41

Thomaston, CT

Wet snow all morning---nothing here now---roads are clear, but some on driveway still----hope this does not freeze tonight!

Nantucket, MA(Zone 7a)

Blowing hard and snowing, but it is slush. 33 F. and wind at 30 to 40 MPH and picking up. Patti

South Hamilton, MA

Patti Tell your trees to hunker down. Lucy

Huron, OH(Zone 5b)

It was 40 and sunny today.

Southwest , NH(Zone 5b)

Chilly day down here. Tomorrow night we have our first Red Sox Spring Training game....we'll have to bundle up....nights in the 40s and days in the 60s for the next 4 days, then up to 79 on Tuesday.

Happy to hear that some of you are able to get out in your yards at last!

Sherrie - what an adorable dog!
