My dogs want to go out now too. Not me. Yours is adorable. I assume you are too. P.
Today's Weather in Your Garden - 64
Best wishes everybody!!! Safe driving, Patti.
2 hours to clear driveway, back porch, and front walkway - should have got out earlier, snow was to heavy for the snow blower and ended up shovelling it - heavy stuff
Drive slow, stay safe. Hope you are all snug and warm on the island tonight.
Nothing but lots of rain here, all snow gone everywhere except as usual my backyard. It is soaking up a lot of water. Woods are clear, front yard is clear, all neighbors are clear. Backyard is always the last place to hold onto snow. Temp up to 39 degrees. Dark and dismal cold rain.
39° Rain last night & this morning. Water sitting in the low spots in the front yard. I hope that all doesn't turn to ice where there is still snow. That does NOT help the iris plants underneath although some of the beds are clear. Lunenburg reports 13" of snow & I think that is west of Bill.
just a few miles away maybe 2 or 3 - and it is hard rain here now although right or just above freezing so "maybe" they are telling the truth - wish it was all snow here
i am always surprised at the folks that report the weather totals and how inaccurate most are to the + side - and that the weather guys run with it.
what lucy heard may be correct the snow total lines were very close in this area - just glad i was able to clear the mess off here - do not need an ice arena out there in the morning
nice!!
Cloudy here, rained all night. 44
Calling for rain then snow on the high side calling for 15"
It started out as snow here, then turned to rain now it's misting and has been for hours!
Up North they are having a blizzard, my brother lives at the base of the Mountains so he's getting it good. Maybe I should lend him my new toy???????????
Must be my lucky day, got BOTD and a 2010 Nissan Xterra

Wow - nice!! Congrats and enjoy!
Thanks Victor, the Subaru is staying though....great in snow can't say it enough...OH and gas too. lol
But i've missed my Xterra since getting rid of it and since quitting smoking (2 years next month) I saved a nice little down payment and got another one. Bill would understand, or at least Cindi would!
Great - and congrats on the two-year mark!!
LOL Sherrie! I was jealous when i went to the RU and Bill had one! LOL
Thanks again Victor! ^_^
BTW, almost 50 and this is my first NEW vehicle!

glad for the 2 yr anniversary! rain here maybe turning back to snow for tomorrow evening Don't need that!!
Storm will start tomorrow and go through Friday. Lots of snow on the way. Ugh.
I thought we were just going to get rain down here. We'll see what happens.
(We are 25 miles south of Boston:)
Rain, with just a few breaks, for the last 24 hours. Too warm for snow, let's see if it stays that way for the next 4-5 days.
Power was out from 8pm - 8:30p. The trouble is, when power goes out you don't know if it's for 1 hour or 24 hours, so you can't make an alternative plan.
It is currently lightly snowing.
We got on the 8:00 Steamship in Hyannis and got home around 10:30. It is not blowing yet, but we are suppose to get a whole bunch of wind tomorrow.
We lost power in Vt around 1:00 and as the snow was still coming down at a good clip, DH decided to give the road a try and headed down to the main road (RT 30) which was in good shape. So he came back and we packed up and headed south around 3:00. The 2 mile trip down to the RT 30 was a tad hairy for me, but I drove the 4 wheel drive truck down using overdrive on the uphills and gear 1 for the downhills. I made it. I was raised in Okla so have never mastered the snow driving. Then we switched cars and I drove the new van down via the Mass Pike instead of taking RT 2 which was likely to be a mess. It is a bit longer, but far easier driving. It just rained all the way once we were south of Greenfield. We had to take both the van and the truck which was a pain. The van lives on the mainland to get us between Nantucket and Vt, so we had to get it back to Hyannis and the truck which lives on Nantucket was loaded to the gills with firewood for our Island wood stove.
I would say we had a foot when we left. Pictures from this morning. Patti
This says it all

They were predicting up to 4" of snow overnight for the DC area. Woke up this morning and only evidence of any precipitation was a very thin layer of ice on the driveway and a few droplets of rain on the windshield. YAY. (Patti, great snow picture collage). Terri
I said this last year but didnt know I was Lying."Its been a horrible winter"
37° Rain predicted. More snow is melted from flower (especially iris) beds. There is still somw on the southern ones--we melt north to south because of tree roots starting the melt.
Snowing!!! Early dismissal already announced.
36°, wind N 0.0, rain
Snow amounts in my area reduced to 6" total acc. from today thru Saturday.
Fog, but no wind yet. 39 F. Good luck all with the latest weather mess. Patti
36 here and heavy rain expected with flood warnings, although not here being at the top of a hill
lucy was right yesterday, folks only 3-5 miles away received over a foot of snow yesterday, rain for them today
my plow is here already.. they are good
Light off and on rain/drizzle. Fog earlier this am has lifted and the snow in the backyard has gone away with it. Yeah! Little or no wind still coming from the east. Temp is 37 degrees and should level off in the 40s.This is the weather for the next several days with snow showers thrown in every morning then back to rain again.
It has been pouring all morning---my drive is flooded & threatening to flood garage, since yard is frozen & rain cannot seep in---I can't believe I said you don't have to shovel rain---I've been out with the snow shovel scooping up water---of, course, it's probably just running back in---our county is expecting snow on top of this, cannot get hold of Comcast to fix our phones, I had to argue with the plumber about replacing the furnace today---Oh, yeah, that was about to happen---GRRRRRR!
32. Lots of heavy snow. Kids are home.
Lightly snowing now - big wet flakes. Forecast still calls for a foot or more and continuing into Saturday! Wife is home so we're all here now.
