So I read online just a minute ago that even though Europe was slammed with ice and the U.S. has had all the snowstorms, the scientists are saying that January was the hottest month on record!

Not here, it wasn't! JMHO!!!

Those scientists must be from India!!!!

Hello all!! Good day to everyone. Nothing new to report today, except that my Viking's motherboard (yes the brand new replacement for the other brand new) is frozen!

So.. will be happily sewing away on a back up machine. Thank God, I have 2.. one computerized and the other mechanical.
Hmmmm.. maybe.. maybe... I could trade those for a LAQ??? Naaaaaaaah!!!

By the way, Audrey, don't get another pattern. Try the one I'll be sending out first, and you'll get an idea how to apply your own patterns.

And you have daffodils popping up, that is a good sign of spring! Here we know it is spring if the mesquite trees start to get leaves, then we will have no more frost!

Been a very looonggggg week and today was my 5th week of radiation. Tired but feeling ok otherwise. I may try to fix a bite to eat and go to bed for the nite soon

LK, we know winter is over here when the oak leaves fall off from last year. They hang on all winter and fall off after all the cold is gone!

and the oak leaves are starting to fall, had that oh so loverly tint of yellow on my truck today, when I went out to go to work...time to start up the allergy meds.....

Grrrrr.....I had another 4 inches of snow overnight!!!! I'm really sick of white!!! Thank you Thunder for the promise of spring.. I can't wait...

Oh yuk more snow. I think this puts a whole new meaning on "Let it snow, Let it snow, Let it snow!" UG!!

Thanks LK! It will look better when I wash all the creams and hair spray out of it that she put in it, I think it flattened it! LOL

The beauty shops always over do it, I always come and wash my hair to get the products, out, and to restyle it, They always style it with a side part, and with bangs, even though I tell them not too.

She left it parted in the middle, which didn't look bad at all and usually it does, but I just flipped it over to the side like I do anyway.

It's in a pony tail now and will probably remain there most of the day since we've got to go work in the yard and all in a bit.

Barb, the robins are here...so that means they have started their journey north!!!

Good Morning Ladies,

Crissy your hair color is pretty. Let me tell you about hair coloring a couple of weeks ago.
My hair is dark brown, well I had picked out a lighter shade dye, lol BIG MISTAKE!!!!!!
When my hair dried it looked ORANGE!!!!!!! LOL, I just about freaked. My mom just said "OH MY" and busted out laughing. I said well I am not leaving like this, so a couple of days later I went back to the store and found the color I had used before. Well it is not quite the color I want but it is better than the ORANGE!!!!! Actually I am getting used to it and my daughter thinks it is a pretty color.
Last night we had dinner, I gave my daughter some gardening tools. I didn't think she would be happy, but she was absolutely thrilled. I got her a kneeling mat, gloves, and 4 tools.

Well, now the guys. I have been talking with Doug alot. Most of the day Thursday and into night, all day yesterday, then when I got back from dinner back to talking wtih him again until midnight last night. He had told me that he searched every dating site looking for me where he could talk to me without having to pay, lol. Yea he admitted he was tight, but with the rain he is not working right now. He is a concrete finisher. We chatted IM with our webcams on and then we talked on the phone last night. I get up this morning and turn on my pc and there is an offline IM meassage waiting for me. We shared a lot of info and I am thinking I may have found the right guy. He said he was in this for the long haul, one woman man, believes in true love. I even got to see his dad on the webcam while we were chatting. Funny thing his last name is Davis, that was my Mom's madien name. We got to talking about our families and he said "I hope we are not related" lol.
He is so funny, he kept me laughing until I had tears. Has the cutest little habit of sticking out his tongue when he is typing. So we will be meeting soon. I have a lot of things going on and can't get away and he is really anxious. I really feel that he just may be the one.

Now this my mom is having her knee surgery after all the injections did not work. Her sugery is scheduled for May 18th.

OH gotta go Doug is calling , LOL

I have had the salons color my hair, and it came out horrible. A couple of months ago, I told her I wanted to go light red, and when she turned my chair around, it was such a dark cherry red, it was horrible, I told her no, that is not a light red! She had to strip it, and do it all over!
So glad that you are raising a young gardener there, Sounds like she really enjoys it.

Finished my mat of the week. This time it is log cabins

It's quite a bit lighter than what the pictures show, I'll get Dave to take some tomorrow in the sun. The actual color of it is the same exact color of my eyes, so it makes them stand out big time, but it doesn't match my eyebrows, so I think I'm going to check and see if there's a color I can use to dye them. This isn't the color I was looking for, I wanted more blond in it, but it's going to work! She streaked it with a dark dirty blond color. I'll show ya'll that too!

Thunder!! You need to see one!! It's like being in heaven the minute you walk through one!!
No, I'm not broke.. didn't spend too much and this year there were less booths :(

Jaye, I have decided I'm going to sell my things in a craft sale in Nov. So, each week I am dtermined to make at least one runner or mat to be put away for this so I'l have 40 or so ready to sell. So far I am on track with 8 done...

I am going to be meeting Doug today. I am going to take my camera so that I can take a pix of the two of us. I know he is the one!!!!!

He is so nervous about meeting me, lol. We chatted IM with web cam for 5 hours last night, lol. Finally I had to say "Hey, let's make a date" He was affaid too, lol. I told him that when I see something I want I go after it, lol. He said "Good, come and get me, baby" ^_^

I will be back here tomorrow, today is going to be loooooooonnnnnnngggggg date, LOL
