Fostoria, OH(Zone 5a)

I'm not going to put my new address on the exchange until after the 1st week in March. I want the 12 month Block February gals to mail their blocks to me here and the April blocks to the new address. But I'm moving to Fostoria, Ohio; a little town just 10 miles from one kid and 45 minutes from another. Can't wait!

YAY!! Closer to everyone!

Winnipeg, MB(Zone 3b)

Hi ev1!
Been busy, and haven't been back for a couple of days.
Busy making quilt blocks and a church banner too.
btw - I made a website of my own it's called "Christian Church Committees" a resource for people of the church who Fundraise, do Children's Time, choose Music for the Choir, and try to make theirs a Community Church to involve the people of the community in events.

Been a very busy day today.. but productive.
Silver got his nip and snip at the vet's. Found out that the Myrtle Beach humane society do give out vouchers for those that rescue animals. But, we don't qualify as we're from a different state, even though our address is just across the border!! Oh well...

More meds from the doctor, stronger dose. See my cheery self? Will always try to be cheery... what's worse than taking more meds? Ah... no other alternatives but to wait on the good Lord to take you home?

Susan, you're a great help for churches looking to some other sources for their children's program. Our church had a valentine dinner and raised $2,000. selling rib eyes at $8 a piece plus a picture of you and your sweetheart, taken.
For a very small community, I consider that as a rare success!!

Crissy, I do hope this week has been a pleasant one for you, and looks like Dave is back to his old good natured self.

Bidding all a good night.

Good morning!!!
Breakfast is ready!! Pineapple muffins and banana pancakes with a side of bacon!
Of course coffee is fresh, hot and hazelnut creamer.

It's cool today, but I don't expect that big giant golden orb to hover above. Calling for rain, and the grounds are overly saturated. My kitties outside are starting to wearling rubber boots!!!!

Another busy day.. all I got to do in the mornings most of the time, are to accompany Kel on his pick up runs. But those jaunts jar my body as the box truck has very poor suspension, especially when it goes over giant pot holes!!!

You all, TRY to have a good day!

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Morning Jaye, Thanks for the breakfast.
Sorry to hear you have to have stronger meds, but you do need to take car of yourself. Stop and get the rest you need.
Hey Janice, glad to see you posting, I know you will be so busy till you get everything all moved, and settled in! I know you will love your new place!
Hey Crissy, how is it going at work today?

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

Hi!!

Other than it being 20* colder than it's supposed to be he's alright, he just hates winter. I don't understand the animosity about something that is going to happen whether we like it or not, I think we should all just grin and bare it, but whatever.

I'm probably too late for breakfast but that's alright, I don't need it anyway LOL

(Barb) Manchester, NH(Zone 5a)

About 10 inches of snow here this morning and supposed to go all day!!! Who knows how much we will end up with? Norm and I are snug and warm and have plenty to eat so we say "let it snow!!!"
Janice it's getting close to moving date. How is the packing going? Sure hope you have plenty of help.
Jaye, you need to do whatever it takes to make you better. Seems like this has been a rough winter for you and yours.... I'll say extra prayers..
Off for some breakfast. Stay well everyone~~~~~

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

Glad you're cozy and warm! And glad you don't have to go out in it!

(Barb) Manchester, NH(Zone 5a)

Me too!! Norm just canceled a meeting he had scheduled for this afternoon. Our driveway got plowed out about 5AM and the town has plowed us back in at least three times since then. The snowbank is now about three feet high of wet heavy snow. We will wait for our plow guy to come back!!! No need to throw out a back or something..

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

Well our snow is in liquid form again today and again for Friday. Oh well spring can't be far behind--can it?

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Not too far I hope!

(Barb) Manchester, NH(Zone 5a)

I want some GREEN!!!!!

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

So sorry Barb.. us in the South will get it sooner than you, but not any sooner! I'll send the first green grass that creeps up here to you!!!

(Barb) Manchester, NH(Zone 5a)

Thanks Jaye -- we will be so happy to see it!!!!

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

I have green weeds already, does that count. The dandelions are terrible already!

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Bless your heart...
10 inches of snow is no laughing matter. I'm contented with the rain.

(thunder)Wildwood, FL(Zone 9a)

the green is trying to come out !!
I wandered the yard this am with the mutt and noticed that my mexican petunias have the tiniest little bits of green trying to emerge ^_^
sorry for all of you getting more snow YUCK, we are getting more rain....:9 trying not to complain....it does help things to grow after all.....

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

We have green weeds. Lots of dandelions up already!

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

Hey Thunder, if you see a raft float by with a disheveled woman on it--grab it , it will be me!! I am tired of this rain--please some sun!!!

(Audrey) Dyersburg, TN(Zone 7a)

Good Day Ladies,
We are having rain, and a huge storm coming in Friday. Sure glad I don't have to go anywhere ^_^

I have a dinner date tonight. His name is Richard, he is 57, 6'2", likes to do alot of the same things I like. He is going to be enrolled in truck driving school come April. He wants to go OTR, wouldn't ya just know it. He scuba dives and goes to Mexico a lot. He has Harley, and a costom built bike that he is selling and just received an offer for $12,000, his spending money for Mexico. Hmm wonder if he wants company, lol.

I'm also chatting with another guy, Curt that is older (66) has a Harley also. His father lives in Sac which is only about 30 miles from me and just turned 80 Saturday. Curt wants to meet soon. He lives in Reno, NV. I'm not so sure about him yet. It is the age difference that is bothering me.

Wanted to share some pix with ya all

Sistahs, I have some terrible news.

We've just found out by the main corporate head office where we get our appliances from, that there will be ONE vendor that will be collecting trade-ins (due to the cash to clunker program). Unless our company is worth $10 million, we may put up a bid!

God must have other plans for us.

Winnipeg, MB(Zone 3b)

oh Jaye - that is a blow...... Then HE must have other plans for you, indeed.
y'know that old chestnut "When one door closes, a window opens..." I wish for you all the fresh air God can provide ^_^

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

You're right Susan.
Still, it would be nice if one of us sistahs could spare $10mil.

There's a man in Ca., that's doing the same like us, and owned 50 refurbished appliances stores. He flew to corporate to plead his case, and they told him it's the new govt. policy.
Poor guy had to declare bankruptcy and no telling how many workers he laid off.

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

Well are my pill....cases worth anything? LOL

In solving one problem have we created yet another?

Winnipeg, MB(Zone 3b)

I'm absolutely positive that there are 2 sides to every story. It's exactly the case of "what's good for one, is bad for another".......

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Yours are too soiled Maid M!! Thanks but no thanks!!!

We'll be fine, serious! Just got to cut back on eating out almost everyday...
urghh.. yep.. everynight too!! The kiddies have to go back to eating dog and kitty food. No more baked chicken, tuna or hotdog treats.. maybe once a month?
It could be worse. Kel's parents were told of this, and their response was incredible! They took it well.

Good news! Kel says I won't be missing the quilt show this weekend!
But I can kiss the idea of owning a LAQ goodbye!! ROFL!!
