Oh, I almost forgot. I am wondering what everyones experience has been with rooting Kong cuttings.Elizabeth, you sent me two huge cuttings of Kong, late in the fall, and one has a small clump of leaves forming, and the other has nothing...I may have to give up on that one, cutting.The cuttings were beautiful! The one that has leaves, looks like it has good roots. I'm just wondering if Kongs are very slow to root for anyone else, or is it just me..

last year was my first dealing with Kong, I think the cuttings I had didn't make it, I am not sure what to think of that Brug
I just hope your clipping make's it, I left the root ball outside in a big planter, just too see if it makes it through our winters
I won't know if it made it till all the snow melts

Doris, last year, was my first year, and I got most all of my cuttings from generous people, like you ,and Elizabeth, and there were so many others that either sent cuttings for postage, or swaps.I have found most brug people are so generous!

We are supposed to get rain. i am glad it was nice today. DH said this was best weekend since Thanksgiving. I believe it!!! Been a hard winter here, but not like what you all have. I know you will be glad when the weather warms. i have a crocus in full bloom but didn't get pic of it. We got a couple of red-stemmed dogwoods for the birds. Got plants a Tractor Supply. I have to come over and see you Elizabeth. i want to be sure you are still around after all that snow you all have up there.

Hey, Elizabeth, I found a pic of Lady Liberty in the plant files. It is one of Brenda Delph's. It is a beautiful double/triple white.Now, that one I have to do some research on.

Good morning, Dee I have missed seeing you the last couple of days, good to see your OK.
I was watering my plants yesterday and saw that one of the leaves had that tell tale sign of a bud, so I checked all over and YIPPEEEE I found a tiny bud on a plant that I pollinated last year Velvet Rose X Double Peach now I am excited to see what it will look like, this is a lot better than reporting snow, which we haven't done with yet.
