oooh tough choice Venice! I guess you cold decide where to plant it first, then pick by sun or shade needs and height. Or would you be keeping it indoors?
Good morning everyone! Ding Ding! Coffee's on.
Tough choice Venice. I second Lynnie's motion.
morning! aaaah a nice hot cup of antioxidants!
between sledding and tearing up the bedroom carpet yesterday, I had a nice workout. I'll get a pic of the empty blank slate of a bedroom.
Morning
Aww Lynnie you must of been looking like you are ready for the red carpet runway.
Sounds like you are coming right along in that bedroom.
I still didn't get all the makeup off lol
then I washed my hair and fell asleep...hubby said "going curly today?" then hid the grin behind his coffee cup
Hi venice,
If it was me, I would probably pick the parot lily simply because it is something that I don't have and looks different.
I have a number of sweet williams as you know,
I have musk mallow, but mine is white with a small pink tint in the center.
I have poppies
I have blanket flower seeds.
hmmmmmmm, that would be an interesting pick for me.
I have to pick from someones list in califorina, and florida yet.
Kassy, I will take a look at those flowers again that you mentioned. Thanks.
I think it is really hard to choose seeds form California and Florida. First, I had to go through the long list and eliminate the tropicals and trees.
You have to see Shawn White do his tricks on the snowboard! He is amazing!
Then Apolo Ohno is skating the 500 and 100 meters. And he is exciting to watch.
Venice the four O'Clocks I know about, they grow here nicely and are very pretty. They spread each year as the seeds fall back to the ground. They get about two feet tall and bloom out around four o'clock in the evening and close up at dusk. I guess thats where they got there name. They do need lots of sun but can tolerate partial shade.
Apolo Ohno advances to the finals in the 1000m.
I'm up early, coffee's on!
Venice, I watched a lot of snowboarding & speed skating last night.
good morning! I'm up early too! pour me a cup would ya Smiley?
how did Apolo do? After doing groceries and laundry and all that I went to bed!
Morning
Toss a cup this way too please.
I didn't see what happened there with the speed skating. Saw Shawn White, that guy can fly higher than anyone.
Also saw the women's skiing where the one girl wiped out. Ouch, it looked really painful.
Catch that mug o' joe, JJ.
Apolo's team advances to finals today. It is tag team skating. I had never seen that before and it was cool. He will skate again tonight.
Shani Davis won gold for 1000m speed skating.
Actually there were 3 girls that had white-outs on down hill skiing.
Shawn White won a gold after his first snowboard run but did his fancy tricks in the second one just for the crowd.
I watched curling for about 3 minutes on another channel. That is all I could take!
Olympics will really be exciting tonight!!!
Are those daisies in the first one in 'Today's Articles'?
What would be their real name. And those are perennials, right? Do they bloom first year from seed? Or should I try to find some roots?
They sure look like daisies Venice. I grew shasta daisies from seed once, they didn't bloom until year 3.
What is the difference between shasta daisies and Ox-eye Daisies? They look about the same to me.
I let Kitty outside like usual and she hasn't come back. In the morning she is usually gone just a few minutes in the morning. I just bet someone has her. That happened three times before. I usually tape -- she likes to play outside -- on the back of her tag. But forgot after we got her new tag last week. One guy intentionally took her and kept her for over a week. The vet's phone number is on her tag. He said that the number didn't go through. Liar! I know he never even tried!
I am so sad that kitty is gone. Even though she would be sleeping now, I miss her.
She'll find her way back to you, Venice.
I think the daisies are just different varieties, I don't know too much about them.
She will come back Venice. Probably out strutting her stuff.
And if someone has her when they let her out she will run home.
Keep you eyes open.
Smiley and JJ, thanks. Kitty is so street smart that I figure she is not hurt. Someone will let her go once they see that feral side of her. She is not a normal affectionate cat.
Thats right and she will head straight home..to eat your plants.
She doesn't eat my plants. She pees in the pots!!!
The other day I couldn't believe what I saw. She had dug a 2" hole in the avocado pot and she flipped about 2 cups of dirt on the floor and dirt all inside the shelves behind it. I must have interrupted her in her business! I put this netting over the soil in the pots so I think that will stop her. I sent for some Odor Eliminator that is friendly to pets and plants because I can smell it if my nose is about 8" away from the pots. I thought I had seen her footprints in some of the bigger pots but had no idea what she was doing in them!
she's a smartie cat that's for sure. she'll be back.
Lynnie I'm baking the onion rings :)
JJ, are you making your own or what kind are they?
are they from a box JJ?
One good thing: I only saw 2 gnats today! Yesterday I put a triple dose of Neem Oil in my mix. My elephant plants are loosing leaves very easily. I wonder why!
Good morning! T.G.I.F.!!
I've got nothing to say but it's OK
Good morning, good morning
Good morning ah
Good Morning,
Lynnie onion rings were frozen. I know they are not good but I usually deep fat fry them, so baked them instead. I only ate 3 little ones.
Remember I have very little cooking resources at the moment.
Just a quick hello, will catch up later. Venice did Kitty come back? Bet that is where your knats are coming from if she is peeing in your plants. I know she keeps you a lot of company and hope she returns soon. Hi JJ and Lynnie! Temps in 50's today, meet ya at the food court at the mall!!! Everyone have a super day.
50's no fair.
I'll be there Flowers...but we have to eat healthy. I'll skip the fries and just have the nachos, cheese and tomatos are good ( dairy and veggie)and beans are protein.
Lynnie is not looking right??
I got my drinking bottle in the mail today. You bite it and suck, like a nipple!
But no cat to try in on!
I took icicle photos today! Instead of putting them on here, I am sending them to you in an email. I would appreciate if you would pick out one photo you like the best and let me know. I could do some minor cropping on the photos.
They are copied on the email instead of doing an attachment so they will be a little smaller but quicker to access.
No Kitty but I put out a few fliers.
