I have 2 small Elaeagus x Ebbingei shrubs, that smell heavenly in the fall, and produce great berries if you can get them in March before the birds. The jelly tastes great!! Once again, I won't dig unless anyone wants them.. I think you'll want them.. they are pretty shrubs, and do best...IMO.. where they can grow to their hearts desire

The Woodlands, TX(Zone 9a)

blkraven - We'll get the bulrush ready for you. We have one small plant and the larger one. Not trying "to get rid of" the speedwell, just offering it for sharing. I love it! Do you still want some?

Wells, TX(Zone 8b)

if you dont mind.. I have a place that would be perfect for it...tanks!!!

Willis, TX(Zone 8b)

Becky - I'd like one or both,...if no one else wants one....are you just makin' room?

(Becky) Colmesneil, TX(Zone 8b)

Lee.. I'll tag both of them for you. I'm not sure if they need a pollinator or not. BTW.. I like to go out and pop the berries in my mouth.. they're yummy just like that. They have a big seed, but they are full of pectin. The jelly tastes a little like Mayhaw.. my fav!!

Adding Artemisia... Power Castle, and Silver King, if anyone is interested

Buffalo, TX(Zone 8b)

I need some stacks of old newspaper and some of the plastic grocery / walmart bags.
I will take all I can collect. I also use the five gallon buckets like pickles come in for restaurants if anyone has those.

You wouldn't believe how helpful these simple items can be for me.

Yes, on the onions being edible. They are the kind you use for salads and in dressing and such, with the small white ends and lots of green onion tops. Mine grow all year long and multiply all the while. I will soon be able to end world hunger with them (that is if an onion could stave off hunger).

Charlene

Buffalo, TX(Zone 8b)

Becky, I could use the silver king please. How about a couple of Monte Negro lillies for you?
Charlene

Baytown, TX(Zone 9a)

Charlene, please put me down for some onions. Thanks!
Don

Willis, TX(Zone 8b)

Charlene....if you need those regularly,...I'll start saving the bags & papers for you....for the next RU's

(Becky) Colmesneil, TX(Zone 8b)

Hey Charlene... glad you're ok... you had us worried..LOL... Sure I'll take the lilies for the Silver King.. I'll get you a pot full. I'll try to remember to bring what bags we have for you to the RU... Thanks girl!

The Woodlands, TX(Zone 9a)

Nothing is happening with your list unless you've done something with it, Sylvia.

To see it, just go to the second post from the top of this thread, and click on your name. It will take you to your "list". If you want to edit it, then click on Gulf Coast RU Trades at the top of the thread. That will take you to your post in the body of this thread and the edit option will show up in the left margin.

What d'ya mean, "make a living"? You're retired and all you have to do is wait for the checks to pour in. LOL!!

Dallas, TX

Ceejay working for yourself is almost a 24-7. I am retired from the corporate world. Now that I know how to find my stuff, I can add more. Is there a food thread?

BTW I am looking for the Walking Iris ... will trade an entire Helleborus bush for some.

Baytown, TX(Zone 9b)

What Crinum do you have Sylvia? Wow I looked up Helleborus. Really pretty. I will see if my walking Iris survived. They were looking really bad. They are white with purple if they survived.

Sandy, I dont know what kind, actually at the last roundup at CS it was a toss up of what it is. someone called it a Naked Lady. and it has to be dug up.I wish Dawn was around, she knew what it was. Can you tell by the leaves? I will take a picture.

Baytown, TX(Zone 9b)

charlene I will bring you some newspaper.

The Woodlands, TX(Zone 9a)

I seem to remember that someone offered a crossvine. If you still have it for trade, I would love to have it.

Sylvia - way up there Becky asked for a fern and white daffs. I see you still don't have her on your list....

Baytown, TX(Zone 9b)

I edited my list Thursday and noticed I failed somewhere along the line. It is done now so please check and see if I have everyone and what you ask for Either it is my computer or DG but I am having the worst time on here today.

Maybe no blooms is healthier for replanting? It might be getting ready to bloom.

now for the
Crin um or Naked Lady ... as I remember, I think this plant loses all its leaves and all you have is this tall lily in the ground

Thumbnail by City_Sylvia
Dallas, TX

as you can see I just decided to walk thru my garden. This is one side on the other I planted those deep colored Helleborus, it will probaly be a year or so before they show up. I know have a lot of leaves back there, but the Hostas will soon have all that covered up.Those Crinums or whatever is on the side of the house where I never go ... its all Crinums and Rose bushs. There is a tree back there that has grayish/reddish velvet leaves I want to know what that is
