I love the Cool Crystal and Angelique Tulips. I had a few Angelique once but lost them. They are on the top of my order list and I've just added Cool Crystal. They look beautiful together. Thanks for sharing!!

Tolleson, AZ(Zone 9a)

Tulips are something I wish did well here. I can grow 1-2 species varieties and have them return.

This tulip is always the first to bloom, even before the daffs. It is in hard clay compacted soil and the deer have munched their edges...what a trooper! "Red Riding Hood"

I love that one - Red Riding Hood. Its got the decorative
folliage too. Glad to see you are enjoying bloom there!

Very nice garden.

Another crocus...but they are over now...

It's definitely bulb season here in Seattle. These are some Daydream tulips that I'm loving right now. I'm jealous of the alliums and tulips blooming together. I had hoped I might get some alliums with my orange tulips, but it looks like the tulips will be over before the alliums pop open.

And here's a frittilaria - shortly before my oldest took it out with a basketball.

I've yet to get a very good picture of them, but I'm really loving these Tahiti daffodils. They have been blooming for weeks, and the stems are sturdy enough that they stand up really well to wind and rain.

Kymmco - Tahita are one of my favorites too. Love
'em.

Opps, sorry, wrong Forum for my pic :-((

marie probably doesn't mind, there's other trees posted above...
Nice crabapple.

East Texas, United States(Zone 8a)

this should go in amaryllis forum but I have lost the tags, so here it is as a general type pic. I have been planting all kind of red amarylllis together, and they're finally looking clumpy. You would have thought the harsh 2009/2010 winter would have done them in, but no, the flowers seem bigger and more vibrant that ever. Mama Nature must know what she's doing.

here are my orange hippies in a bed where there's nothing BUT peach, melon, orange stuff. They are so nice.

I also have a section with nothing but pink and white hippies, but for some reason this section is always the last the bloom. So here is only one, Misty

Voss, they sure are pretty.

superb vossner

Sacramento, CA(Zone 9a)

Vossner - those hippies are gorgeous. I especially like your peach, melon, and orange bed. I am putting in a bunch of new plants in that color scheme this year.

Not sure if peonies count as bulbs though they do have tubers, but here is my peony in that color scheme - Coral Charm.

Oooh... you are ahead already! Mine look to need
another week before they open. Its pretty even if it
isn't what you intended.

Vossner, Your amaryllis are spectacular! What a show your neighbors must have!

Nope I do not mind trees at all, they rank right up there with vine and bulbs for me.
For some reason I cannot capture red right on my camera but here is one of my hipps
