Wow---came out very nice! Wish I could do those things myself, but a little painting is about it! Terri, those pups are adorable. We had a lab/giant schnauzer mix when our son was young----one of the best dogs we ever had!

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Thanks Robin.
Thank you Terri also, and those pups are adorable! Nice bathroom too!!

Terri - loved your adorable photos and your story. I wish your siblings a long and healthy life. As the new mom of puppy siblings, I am listening intently to the issues posed by siblings who are so bonded....as ours are. Pros and Cons, for sure! Nice job on your new bathroom!!

Pixie - thinking so much about Jake and all of you today. I hope things get better for Jake soon! {{{{{Jake}}}}}} {{{{{Pixie}}}}}

Hi JoAnn and Marilyn!

Very pretty, Orchid. Now my question I've been dying to ask when I found someone with a vessel sink. Is it difficult in to wash your face in it? I love them but I'm short so I think it would be to tall for me.

cambridge md, MD(Zone 7a)

It might be difficult to wash your face in the sink if you are not very tall , You might need a footstool . I am not tall either only 5'3 But I really enjoy the whole new set up. This year I am going to remodel my sun room which is also where I spend half of my life , having breakfast, coffee, reading the paper, being on the computer, where a lot of my plants are. It needs major reorganisation , painting , White to change from white LOL. Replace a section of drywall put new trim around the door , maybe put a new door solid glass this time instead of the 15 panels that are such a pain to clean...Also put some cheers on the top windows so we dont have to deal with the miday sun in the summer. In another word a big project....

guess I should have put Lily & Riley news in here.. OOPS.. well you are talking about sinks in the pet thread.. guess I could talk about pets in the coffee break

:)

So sorry to read of your loss Celeste...(((♥♥♥)))

My kitchen faucet needs replacing and I was admiring the touch faucet bu Delta. Question is - will the cats be turning it on when I'm away???????

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Of course.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

But I like it.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

I see it does have a timed turnoff feature, though the cats will just wait and do it again!

Thomaston, CT

Of course they will----one of our cats was always in the Japanese sunken tub we had in the house we rented when we were first married----the folks who owned the house lived in Belgium, but also in Japan & France----interesting house.

Southwest , NH(Zone 5b)

Victor - I never thought of that....bummer....looks like a nice option! Shut the bathroom door? Or is that where their litter boxes are?

Southwest , NH(Zone 5b)

Allison - Lily and Riley news fits in nicely on any thread, as far as I'm concerned. ^_^

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

It's the kitchen sink, so can't shut them out without locking them down the basement.

Southwest , NH(Zone 5b)

Ahhh, I see where you said it was the kitchen sink. Yeah, that would be tough! I think you have a challenge there!

Now that's a smart dog!

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Cover your ears Celeste...oh, in this case your eyes.

Wall-e came in with blood on his paw, I wiped it off, didn't see any injury....sent him back out to watch where he went, good thing it was in the range of the light we have. I could see him go to pick something up...I immediately told him to drop...He is a pretty good dog, he actually listened.

On with the raincoat....sure enough...caught another rabbit...guess Wall-e didn't have enough for dinner, YUCK!

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

gasp

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Yep and he threw up what he ate at 5AM this morning...Stupid dog!!!

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

NOT listening!!!

It is a bitter sweet day. .....My old dog Tia's 14th Birthday is today, ironically i had to call the vet to make an appoinment to put her down Friday. I knew this was coming, no surprise, just sucks is all. She's been a GREAT dog, one of my best and I will miss her like crazy but she deserves for me to be merciful. She's been losing her eyesight and last night she ran into Brian truck and this mornig she defecated on the floor in front of the door.....we knew it was time.

That sucks! Didnt you just put a dog down? So sorry.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Yes, Jade was sudden, we had her for 10 years, now this one. I'll be down to 2 dogs soon. :(

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Sorry to hear.

Southwest , NH(Zone 5b)

Oh, Celeste, I'm so sorry. I know how long you've been dreading this. Bless you for being merciful. You just know when the time is right and love for our fur children dictates the decision. Sending you all hugs! Tia has had the bestest life with you and Brian! {{{{{ }}}}}

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Thanks Sherrie, Victor & louise, it's never a easy decision but we knew her time was limited. I mentioned last year that I'd be lucky if she made it thru another winter. She did, and made it to her B-Day too so it's more than I had hoped for.
She had porkchops for lunch, chicken for super and a cookie for dessert.. ^_^

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

oh so sorry Celeste... many many hugs to you... if you need to talk.. you know where to turn

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

I am not sure which dog it was.. but I think Riley was getting frisky.. heard someone yelp in the other room.. and he had that look on his face

Thomaston, CT

Fingers crossed, Allison.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)
