mine love them too.. can't make a salad without two monkeys at my feet
NE forum pets 3
LOL! I cant make ANYTHING without them watching and waiting.
me either but salad they know they always get carrots... Lily always has her lower jaw quivering in anticipation
Yep. They be looking like they ain't NEVER ate! Like I'm starving them.
exactly... or going to chew my legs until they can reach the food
The worst part is when you do feed them and they turn up their noses and act like "next!", cause we are not eating that!
oh no no... never.. the one will eat anything out of my hand... she doesn't even check.. good part is she takes meds real easy
The airedale will eat anything! Today he was trying for my knitting!
and don't forget my 4 legged tomato thieves... Lily is good and smells if they are ripe and picks that one... Jily will snag a cucumber once in a while too
Sherrie, unless you're going to be showing the dog just leave it as it. Depending on the age it may just pop back up on it own, don't touch or pet the ears too much.

so handsome
Oh, handsome is right! Even though I was at the farm today, I didn't get to see Zack, the new GShep pup----he's away at school being trained----important because a lot of folks come to pick blueberries---he's got to be well-mannered.
He's loving the snow
nice Jen!!
I love it when my male looks at me and one ear is up the other down and head is slightly cocked to the side.
Soo cute! Westminster Dog Show is on Mon. & Tues. night---if you watch the terrier group, & the airedale is stacked looking back at the other dogs instead of looking forward, that is the dale we met in Goshen---he's a beauty but nutty! He placed 3rd in the terrier group at the National Dog Show last week in Calif. Last year, he was dismissed from the ring by the judge at Westminster---the announcer said it was because the judge had used the handler, but I don't know---could be because he's always stacked the wrong way.
Love to watch Westminster!
Pixie--Brian cocks his head and moves his ears up and down? I'd love to see that! Post a pic please? ^_^ I'll wait..........
How's you know I was talking about Brian?
looks it Andy.. nice face
LOL, Celeste and Phoebes!!! Very funny.
Sherrie - I agree with Jen about your baby's floppy ear correcting itself possibly.
Jen - Wall-e is very handsome!
Andy - Sarah is lovely...her face and eyes are so intelligent and gentle-looking.
Robin - thanks for the reminder about Westminster. I really love it. After I saw "Best in Show" I have never been able to hear the announcer without giggling though. That movie is hysterical. I have known one of every type of dog owner roasted in that movie. LOL I'm not exactly sure where I fit, but this week it would probably be that neurotic ninny!
Cute, JoAnne! We welcome everyone here - especially if they have pets to share!
Awww...beautiful babies! And Momma looks great too!
Gorgeous!
Mom looks tired--know the feeling. Pups are cute.
AWWWWW!!!
Very cute----dachshunds have such kind faces. Louise, I, too, loved that movie---I would say you were just a loving Mom. Andy, nice to hear from you, & Sarah's so sweet looking---I'm not too happy with my dale right now---he was so excited I was taking him for a ride, he started to kiss my ear, then bit it!
Thanks, Robin. Sorry to hear about your ear-nipping! I know very well how the puppy kiss can turn into a little teeth action, especially when they're excited to see you. I think their new little teeth are so pretty and white and strong-looking. We're counting the days until the new door gets put in on Friday.
JoAnne - your lovely mommy and babies are adorable. Such a sweet photo! Please feel right at home here and show us more photos as your babies grow. Will you keep any of them?
Louise
JoAnne, don't you just love pups! Just look at that proud mama... Terri
Hi Terry. We haven't "met"......I'm Louise (down in SW Fla. for the winter). Nice to meet you!
The new PitBull puppy update: I have had him 24 days now. He can - Sit
Speak - just speak and speak to go out and speak to come in.
Stay - Is still "iffy". I let him out unattended and he stays in the yard - so far.
Shake, Get down, Come, Go get squeak squeak or the ball
He knows the word NO, and leave her alone (dont brutilize his older sisters)
He is now learning to catch toys and cookies 3-4 feet away.
Accidents only happen when he is excited. Like daddy's home. He dont take time to Pee outside - he wants dads attention.
1st - 2 weeks I was beaten up as I didnt dare to leave the 3 dogs unattended until he knew his boundries with them. I do 3 segments a day to teach him. Around 20 minutes.
Things are working good so far.
Good for you, Sherrie---he's getting the right socialization, & discipline---important for all puppies.
