Super Bowl parties, anyone? Attending or hosting?

We're attending at bil's house.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Nope. Staying home, watching with my son.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

cook out in the cold after v-ball in the morning and then home and watch the game with a roaring fire - shrimp and chicken legs

(Ronnie), PA(Zone 6b)

I almost missed this thread...though it was about football!!

I've worked on SBS for the past 18 years. I don't want to look at another chicken wing or pizza for a good long time after...LOL

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Hee hee! Interesting to see what other tv options exist that day. Animal Planet has a puppy bowl or something.

Huron, OH(Zone 5b)

All that is is puppies running around. Boring.
DD passed her driving test today. One more driver in the house.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Congrats to DD Jumper!

Huron, OH(Zone 5b)

Randy and I just crash at home and I usually cook something good.. no clue what I am making this year

Calgary, AB(Zone 3a)

Congrats to DD jumper2! Usually Superbowl=too much food and StreetBowl at half time and I usually get tackled by a much bigger person and squished. I think I might sneak away to a pub this year. I do like doing the end zone dance though ^_^

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

This is sick.

I was glad to see they were pressing charges on the parents the other night.. for encouraging that kind of stuff

Salem Cnty, NJ(Zone 7b)

Jumper, congrats to DD on her achievement.

Dnut, we know you do. Do you have a special outfit for it?

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

i now have another cat visiting the property - it is a tom for sure - every night at about 5:30 it comes out of the woods and meow's below a window in a room i usually read in and hangs out by the side of the house for a bit - does some waste removal - and then heads off towards my neighbors with the girl cat

need to get the girl from american idol last night with the high pitched screech that simon commented "i think you have just killed every cat in denver" just need to find some really good ear plugs first.

"I almost missed this thread...though it was about football!! "

Around here, Super Sunday is never about football. It's about the party! The food, the camaraderie, and the beer. Oh, and did I mention the beer? Someone always pull out a case of Double Bastard Ale, or Imperial Stout, to go with the Yuengling porter and lager.
The food and amount of it usually is over the top. I mean what do a bunch of guys have to keep them out of trouble in the middle of winter! Snow shovelling competitions? LOL Ric

Calgary, AB(Zone 3a)

Yupper Jan 23 you smartie you knew ^_^ I wear my number 10 red football jersery and my festive giant red bow on my head just to bedazzle and confuse the opponent Streetbowl team. But I oft get squished anyhoo. I think that it's important to note that I have never fumbled the ball no matter how squished I get. Also once I played dead and since the ref didn't blow the whistle, I got up in the confusion and ran squished for a touchdown. Alls fair in luv and Streetbowl as I always say ^_^

Newport News, VA(Zone 11)

I saw a mouse in my house today, I heard rustling in my coleus while eating breakfast...out scurries a mouse and runs under the oven.NUTS Guess my plug in critter ridders aren't working anymore... had a good run of working for 2 yrs. Set up a trap with pb next to the oven...we'll see what happens

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

How does coleus taste?

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

IDK you'd have to ask the mouse.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

But you were having it for breakfast!

Sherrie, my name is unusual. Here's what it said about me. There's two definitions.

HARPER:

1. A girl that makes cheese with her eyes. Everyone in the neighborhood comes to a Harper with hope of getting delicious fresh cheese.

2. hot red head with too many friends.

There you have it!

Umm
A woman who, like the same-named alcoholic beverage, is so beautiful and pleasurable to enjoy, that you feel drunk just swapping emails with her. Really an out-of-body experience.

In dreams we were talking out of body experiences yesterday. Geesh...........

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

So you're cheesy, Harp?!!

Questa, NM(Zone 5b)

Whaaaaa! I guess so!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Maybe that's why you had the rat problem??

Questa, NM(Zone 5b)

Sigh... maybe. Eeeew. Just eeeew. Cheesy eyes.
