Leicester, NC(Zone 8a)

Venice, I hope you didn't send one too, if so we wasted a invite

Leicester, NC(Zone 8a)

Sorry Venice, I went back and saw your e-mail notice where you had sent her one, Oh well I still have one invite left, thinking Jim, or JuneyBug,or Marti.and Joy, just don't know who has one yet. Your post here was helpful.

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

I had sent Lynn's about an hour ago.

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

I didn't know Joy's email address. I sent her a dmail asking for it but she must have been in bed already.

(Zone 5b)

they're both in my junk mail! Moon's & yours Venice....I totally missed them, never go in there.

(Zone 5b)

if I only reply to one is the other one still good?

Leicester, NC(Zone 8a)

Don't think so Lynnie, as they were sent out and give you a number for each one.

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

Just delete the one you don't use.

Up date, up date,
Our voodoo lily has a bud!
Not sure if I want it to blossom though.

This thing was 5 inches tall when I last measured it on thursday. Then I left town for the weekend and was busy with the new cats :-)
I get back and this thing is 16 inches tall and 8 inches of that is the bud :-o

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LYNNIE!!!!!!
Wish someone would ask me if I'm 34. (someone who could actually see) :)

Woodhull, IL(Zone 5a)

Smiley you sing that so well....
Stand back.... when Lynnie blows out the candles the frosting is probably going to fly...

Kenmore, NY(Zone 6a)

Good morning JJ. Did you ever see those ads about "your REAL age"? I'll bet Lynnie's in her 20's if she figured out one of those!

Leicester, NC(Zone 8a)

Morning Girls, and a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY from me Lynnie, don't worry you are still the spring chicken of the bunch:-) LOL JJ, got my face shield on ready for the candle blowing. Hi Smiley You sing so sweet!

Glenview, IL

Well Good morning and

singing H A P P Y B I R T H D A Y Dear Lynnie! Happy Birthday to you...

Hope it's a wonderful day!

Waiving hello everyone, yipppeee, spring cleaning just about done, right on time too.

Marinette, WI(Zone 4b)

Happy Birthday Lynn, and trust me, you are far from old.

BF likes to say all the time "wait until you get to be my age". My responce to him is "Been there, done that!"
For almost 2 months we are the same age, and then I get the jump on him again.

JJ, all that plant gets to eat is potting soil and water. It's a very hardy plant. That thing is now at about 20 1/2 inches tall and the blossom is a little over 9 inches tall.

I will be taking pictures of it every day. Rachael tried to ID it for me.
Here it is this morning ^_^

And venice, this is one of the cats I got for my BF.
I knew he was missing his cat, since he was spoiling mine so bad. So I put an ad on craigslist looking for a cat with the requirements that he had for it. It had to be declawed, fixed, and short hair. He went though long hair with his last girls and decided short hair was better.
A girl answered my ad. She had cats that met all the requirements. And she needed to find a good home for them. But they had to go together. So he got 2 cats ^_^
This is Cheeto. I call her a little ham. Seems to love to have her picture taken.

And this one is Tori

I e-mail back and forth with the girl who had to give them up, so she knows that they are adjusting fine. She bottle fed both of them when they were babies, so it was hard for her to give them up. She just e-mailed me last night, so I better go answer that e-mail now.

Cheeto has perfect 'cats eye marble' eyes.

This has been such an appropriate thread. Excellent job, JJ!

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

Last night as I was finishing up some stuff, I pulled a cardboard box (small) from the bottom of a larger box....the bottom gave way and a buh-zillion marbles went on walabout....all over the place...last thing I wanted to do was gather my marbles up.....thought about that for a minute and had a really good laugh....thanks JJ....I needed that....grin....so Moon found her marbles and they are all over the guest room floor...lol

Marinette, WI(Zone 4b)

Glad you found your marbles Jean ^_^

Kenmore, NY(Zone 6a)

Someday (even if only in our minds) we will have a slumber party. And watch, among other things, 'Hook'.

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

Thanks Kassy....grin Sounds like fun Smiley...hope I can stay awake....lol

Hope your having a good birthday,whatever you're doing:}
Moon,I have a large wooden box of colourful glass marbles,as I mentioned at start of this thread.I certainly wouldn't like to drop them,cos they roll rather too much!! My sons used to love playing around with them and quite a few of them are old,having belonged to my Grandfather:}
Just trying to tidy up after dinner,dishwasher's beeping at me:}

Woodhull, IL(Zone 5a)

LOL Moon , on finding your marbles.
Seeds Spring cleaning almost done, I think I gave up on mine this year. Going to wait for a good spring windstorm and open all the windows. Let it do the cleaning for me in one big WHOOSH....

Dronfield, United Kingdom

JJ,don't worry,it's not spring yet, there's loads of time to do Spring cleaning,if you do it ,that is:}There always seems to be cleaning of some sort needed in this house and if I waited till each spring I'd never find the stuff that I was meant to clean:}Once spring does arrive ,all I want to do is spend time outside.
All of you have a good evening
Take care of yourselves
Joy

Woodhull, IL(Zone 5a)

I hear you Joy. I would rather be outside also.
With all the remodeling dust/dirt flying around here I just gave up for now and clean the necessities.

Have a Good Evening tinight and morning tomorrow.

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

Lynnie, Happy Birthday girl! Hope you are having a great day today.

Good golly! You girls have been really busy! I have 34 messages in my mailbox! I better go over there and see what you have been doing.

I will let you know where I went today also!

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

Hi y'all....just coming up for air...grin. Joy, Spring cleaning for me is dusting top to bottom...washing walls and rugs and stuff just to get winter funk off...clean all the woodwork and cabinets, clean out closets...all that kinda stuff. The rest of the year it is hit and miss as I would rather be outside slaving in the sun than have my head stuck in a closet inside....My Mama NEVER had to tell me Go outside and play...usually had to send a search party for supper....grin

Leicester, NC(Zone 8a)

Well no wonder I couldn't find ya, you were all here yaking lol. Moon that was ironic finding marbles :-) Hey Joy, I never get caught up for over a day, something about age I guess, just don't let it bother me as much as I use too lol. Lynnie save us some B-Day Cake you old woman you! Hey Kassy, good to see ya back with pictures missed ya! JJ I'm with you, in a couple of months we can open the windows and let mother nature do the dusting. Smiley, got my jammies under my arm and BW in drive, just name the the day and time lol. Seed I'm proud of ya girl, now come finish mine :-). Cya

Leicester, NC(Zone 8a)

Rolling rolling rolling...all the darn marbles are rolling everywhere. GS came to help collect the marbles I spilled...he decided to count them...

The box had all of mine from when I was a kid...a bunch of DH's, some from my 3 brothers, all of the ones left from my two boys and all the ones GS has gotten.....he decided to quit counting when he reached 250.....right now he is under the futon trying to round more up....Gee I hope now that I have found my marbles my brain will work right....yeah, I know....fat chance....giggle...snort....grin

Woodhull, IL(Zone 5a)

LOL WOW do you have a lot of marbles. Can't believe you kept them all this time.
