Good Morning Sistahs All!
Isn't it just wonderful to wake up to breakfast and actually SEE so many sistahs!
Got to say, when you walk right into a room so full love and energy, laughter and Armwraps
make a persons heart sing along with Susan!
Yep, I sure hope that As many of us can meet up at Joyce's Sistah Gathering in June! It will be wonderful to see you again and meet more sistah's too...It was such an exihillerating experience, I can't wait for this years, lol I am already talking about it.
Joyce, Wonderful Photo of you and Marion! You are just adorable together! Awe Happy first Birthday to your little guy!!
Linda Kaye. You look so Happy and Proud of your Brugs. Can't say i blame you they are stunning, and you too. Sure hope my baby does better this year. Got her inside and So far she is doing well.

OH my...I will be so organized I'll be lost, lol. right now I'm trying to find a box for building blocks and lincoln logs...Some of the toys we are keeping for little guests...I'll also pack some up for at the house...So off i go to finish.
See you in a bit.

Here's the link for the sun/ice pics this morning. If you look at the tops of the trees and imagine that glisten throughout the whole 'forest' you'll have the idea of what I'm looking at. The ice is starting to break off of the high wire in big chunks, glad I'm not out there!

Susan, prayers said for you and your family. You would think they could put family members in the same hospital to take some of the stress off of the family.
Everyone with the ice and snow stay safe and stay warm.
Great Pics everyone!! Nice to see a face Jaye. I was trying to imagine you. You have a great deal of merriment in your eyes!
Thank you for your prayers - guess what?! I just Spoke to Alice. She got out of the hospital a few hours ago. They won't have to operate again because (and this is updated, correct info.....) they took out tumours (not lymph nodes as I was previously
told...) and they got it ALL phew!......................
AND although Rick's still in the hospital, apparently he's going to recover 100%!
I started to cry when I heard Alice's voice, and I'm so relieved.........
Thank you, dear sistahs for your thoughts and prayers. Prayer is very powerful, indeed.
♫♪~§usan~♪♫
hey y'all. didn't mean to be MIA - been looking at all I've promised to do in Epperson's garden. charting it out. And cleaning.
y'all been chatty! Cindy, love that butterfly. Those are great colors! LK - you are so pretty in your photo! I was expecting to see this wizened ranch wife! LOL Well, got to get back to reading....
haven't set foot outside since Friday night. OH OH -rescue squad and firetruck on my street again! Whew - they went by my neighbors. That's a relief. City is on lockdown - authorities don't want us out on the roads if unnecessary. Snow and ice here. Ice and my balance don't mix, so I'm housebound. I have this garden work to chart, and a new Keith Keppel catalogue! who's needs to go outside?! Faith kitty is doing very well after her spay operation.
Susan that is the best news! So glad to hear it!
So glad that Faith is doing so good!
Susan, so glad to hear the great news of your Sister, and your nephew! What a relief that is!
Dad and I went for a ride today, and saw a bunch of deer, made him very happy! Plus we stopped for icecream!
Keep the pictures coming!
Prayer is powerful....That is the most wonderful news Susan! (life more abundant)
Bonjon, hope you are doing ok... Is anyone going to help you with that gardening project? that is a lot of work...do be careful.
LK, isn't it crazy how we eat ice year round? freezing butts off and yet someone mentions a sundae and off we go on a search for the whipped cream and nuts!
Hi all..........
That is Awesome Susan !!!!!!!!!!
I haven't felt real good all weekend,my right side is wanting to swell(hand, arm, knee, foot,I tink even my cheek). It's not water retention, not sure what it is.Need to make appt. w/ Dr.
Asking for prayers to be sent to these poor folks......The ice storms cut off electricity in an area about the size of Connecticut. With no electricity, no heat, no running water, and a wind chill below zero, a crisis is mounting. http://www.twincities.indymedia.org/2010/jan/state-emergency-ice-storms-knock-out-indigenous-infrastructure-south-dakota

And here is some Bailey's to keep ya all warm...........
Good Evening Ladies,
So glad to see "everyone" LK, the brugs are awesome. I gave up on mine, and I think they all froze :(.
Judy, I am going to hang that wall quilt in my bedroom after I paint it. I want to do in plum and sage green.
My heart broke this morning. My little Pom died early this morning. And we had to go visit my brother. So we left her covered up on the floor where she always laid. We got home I buried her out in the back yard next to my Buddy who I lost 2 years ago.
NO MORE PETS!!! I can not handle the heart ache of losing them!!! 3 pets within 2 years of each other is just to much!!
Thoughts and Prayers for your sister & nephew Susan!
And LOVE to all my Sistahs here Thanks for posting your pix.
Susan great news!
Synda, do get a doctors appointment, that doesn't sound like fun.
Prayers for all, and a special one for all those without power in such cold weather...
Laura got good news today....she was talking to her boss and she does not have to go back to Renton for more training sessions!!! They are putting her to work on her own Now!!
And since she works from four to nine today Sage is coming over here for dinner!! Between being sick and her visits with her mother I haven't seen much of her the past few weeks....I miss her visits!
((((Cindy)))) it is so hard to lose pets. On the other hand look at all the love and joy we would have missed without them.
Cindy, so sorry to hear you lost your pom, ((((((((HUGS))))))))
Trisha, that is great news about Laura working now.
Cindy - very sorry about your pom. My dog was almost 14 when she had to be put down back in June. My cat - who was 17, went downhill very fast after that (they were best friends) - he lasted 1 day short of exactly 4 weeks from the dog.
So much going on... but prayers will go out to all that need.
Wonderful that we don't have to limit them, and more wonderful that He does answer them.
Big hugs to all here!
Thanks for the Apron Info Linda. How've you been?
Susan, I hope you're home resting, and not in some bowling alley. Hope Bob will feel better by tomorrow. Will keep on praying for Alice's recovery, and also Rick's. 50 is still too young for a full stroke.
The first 3 hours after a stroke is the most crucial period for a doctor to treat him proper.... 12 hours is too long.
He'll be needing occupational, physical and speech therapies. Forgot to ask you whether he has a family?
Woohooo Maid Marion!!! Another generation!!! I'm so jealous of you! Wish I got my little nieces here to pass down the passion!
Oh boy.. more excuses for you to go fabric shopping!!
Yes, we teased Cookie about her tan. Now how could someone from OhyO tanned better than me and Maid M!!! Love you Cookie!
Sistah Judy!!! You bet I've finished the block. It took me quite a while, and I'm not too keen on paper piecing. Stripping (hehehe) is still my forte'!!
Cindy, so sorry over your loss. That's what I said too when Ali left us.. then Kel had to bring Hambone home. Best way to heal.
Hi Nichole. My oldest cat is 12. He's acting more like a 16 year old on account of his thyroid issues. At first I thought he's mourning the death of his best buddy, Ali.
Trisha, we're very proud of Laura!! She's a smart one.. and I bet she'll make employee of the year!! I wish her lots of success and it's time she gets something positive happening in her life.
Synda, might be some allergy to something you ate? Let us know
what the doctor says.
Crissy, we still have ice on the top of our trees!!! Will you have to work tomorrow??
Bonnie, we are both too old to test our equilibrium;) Stay indoors!!
LK, me too ate some ice-cream today. Crazy huh?? And yes, I'm on to the next block.. whew.. thank God, it's easier :D
Hey Juanita.. I just posted on the Dish Towel Swap..
Sistahs.. check what Juanita did to me..
http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/1072214/
Whohoo Jaye that is pretty even in Pink!!!
Sage should be here for dinner soon. (Laura is working 4 to 9 tonight) We are having Pot Roast with carrots, potatoes and I usually do green beans, but for Sage we are having Cabbage....she loves steamed cabbage. Need to get some biscuits ready to go in...I am starving!
Mmmffffmmm... p----
yeah.. even in ppppppppink.. :D
ROFL!!!!
Pretty soon my sistahs will be sending me to the big house in a straight jacket!!!
ROFLOL, wow! Pretty pppppppppppppppppp well you know the word and the lace also. Humm now what can this be used for? I Jax got to Juanita with her Baileys.
Great news about Laura!! Wish her well for me too Laura.
Cindy, I understand about the pet loss but think of the wonderful times you had with your Pom. I still miss my cat that died almost a year ago.
I'm tellin ya Maid M.. there's a conspiracy going on with these ppp bras.. the least they could do is send along Tom Selleck!!!
Good night ladies!
What did you do to them Jaye? Tom Selleck? Not bad, not bad--but what would Kel say? As for me I prefer ...........well off to bed and my pillowcase. LOL
I sure need to know what you did or what Jax has done with that Bailey's.
I bought Susan Boyle's album "I Dreamed A Dream" a couple weeks ago at Costco. She is amazing!. I discovered it was $1.89 cheaper than Wal-Mart, finally got a small bargain. First CD I bought in a couple of years.
Oh Jaye, the weather is horrible, big snow storm hit the other night and temps. fell to freezing. Only small heater in the house so had to layer my clothes. Good thing I didn't have to go out for anything. Don't know how long I can survive this kind of weather. There, does that sounds better??? Hope I didn't lose any plants. On second thought, I went out to survey the rain damage in back and discovered 3 tiny green tomatoes on a plant. So, guess I won't be pulling them up after all. I don't think they will grow up big enough to eat, but even if they get big enough to pick green we do love them fried. Spring is just around the corner girls, so hold on.
Dug out my electric wok I haven't used in years and did some stir fry with chunks of chicken and some left over brown rice. Added a little soy sauce and I thought it was good. Because it is healthy I guess DH will tell me he didn't like it.
Well, better do some facebook before Desperate Housewives come on.
Good night eveyone!
hahahahaha Jaye - "pretty in pink" LOL
soooooooo funny!
Jaye, yes I laid down and had me a good ole nap - 2 1/2 hrs.
Rick doesn't have any family - lives by himself, but he lives only 1/4 the city away from his mom & dad (my DS & BIL), so when he had his stroke, he called his Dad who took him to the hospital. The Dr said he'll have 100% recovery, so that doesn't sound like he'll need any treatments such as you mentioned.
I told Bob you wish him well. I'm just glad that the accountant for his company goes to our church and she said he's to stay home from work tomorrow.
Neither of us went bowling tonight. Bob says he's feeling better, but I told him he doesn't feel well enuff to go to work tomorrow!! (put my FOOT down on that!)
Well, my DH wants to correct the extra HD he put in my system (my system isn't recognizing it..... yet lol), so I'd better get offline to let him play with it LOL
♫♪~§usan~♪♫
Ok Jaye, you wanted to see an article....well I put the best of both worlds into it and came up with this...hope you like it....
http://wp.me/pNp96-4
G'night all
That's a wonderful article, Julie
well, my DH can't make the extra HD work in my system - it recognizes it, but not as a HD, rather more like - it just recognizes it, but doesn't know as WHAT lol
Thanks for the compliment Susan....we have to stop meeting like this....has your DH seen this?
http://www.wikihow.com/Add-an-Extra-Hard-Drive
Morning everyone! Coffee is ready, with some hot cheesy biscuits!
happy february everyone. gotta take the kids for a check up and thier shots. talk at ya later
(((((((((Cindy))))))))) Big Big Big hugs! Tiga's going to be 14 on the 26th, ug.
I'm at work today, pretty bad you want to come to work to get out of the house lol! We have a staff meeting in a few minutes, so I'll see ya'll later!!
Oh, that window in the picture is the only one like it in the whole house. That's in that bedroom where the computer is that gets so darn cold, Dave says the window is the reason, I blame the builders not putting any insulation on that side of the house. LOL
hahahaha Julie - you're funny!
We like to say, in our house, that DH is "hardware" and I'm "software" cuz he's taken a course on it, and I used to do software tech support.
Kinda fits the whole male/female thingie, too LOL
Our computer innards are pretty much the same, so there shouldn't be any issue with putting his extra drive in my system (only 10g, but I need the extra.....with all my pics lol).
I'll show him the article though - thanks.
Susan
Hey sistahs.. I'm here.. terribly, terribly sick.
Been retching my guts out. My turn for that virus. Phyllis is right, it's a 24/48 hour thing. Kel got it Friday--been incubating in my system for 2, and this morning at 3-- puked my guts out.
So.. I'll take a break and will return this evening when I can think clearly.
Julie, you're on your way to be a great novelist. Feel free to use me for your inspiration!!
Waving to all... later...
Morning Glory!
on my way out to chip at the driveway. Darn snow and ice hasn't melted not even one bit.
I'd put "whistling a happy tune" music notes here, but I'm on a laptop, so no numberpad.
oooooooooh Jaye - please take care - do you have any ColdFX left?
Susan
God Bless you Sadie.
Cindy remember you were the one that started the rainbow bridge. I'm sure Sadie has gone there as well!
Jaye, wish I was there to help, maybe some 7 up or gingerale to settle your tummy? take care.
LK
Oh Cindy, so sorry for your loss of your dear little pup, Sadie. Just try to find comfort in knowing she'll be waiting for you at the rainbow bridge..
So sorry Cindy. It's so hard to lose one of our furry friends. We lost one of ours not too long ago. Sending warm hugs.....
