hee hee, my hubby
We ordered a garlic pizza and we went to go pick it up you could smell it outside.
They next day in church he leans over and says "did you do that?" Do what? "something stinks" Ahhh, that's you!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Hee hee! My mother complains about me. I never smell it. I tell her she's smelling my Italian (father's) heritage.

I LOVE the smell of freshly cut garlic. I have sonny boy doing it as I type!

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Hubby likes it a lot on white pie with tomatoes

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

No better way to eat veggies than sauteed with garlic and olive oil. Heaven!!!!!!!!

S of Lake Ontario, NY(Zone 6a)

DH also likes garlic on everything, and sometimes I warn him to avoid his students, or at least stand back.
I often saute veggies in garlic and olive oil.

Chicken mussamun over rice for tonight.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

I loved Tommy Lasorda, the LA Dodgers manager. He used to chew on raw garlic before running out to argue with the ump!!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Supposed to be cooking by now but I'm enjoying my third glass of wine!

Eastern Long Island, NY(Zone 7a)

I leave out the garlic if it's just veggies, or better still, use wok & stir fry in sesame oil...

Roast chicken tonight, w/ baked sweet potatoes & cranberry sauce.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Leave out the garlic?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sacre-bleu!!!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

I have never used a pressure cooker. For some reason I am afraid to try.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

the newer ones are supposed to be safer... but I have not tried one yet either

Thomaston, CT

My Mom used a pressure cooker most of her life, & I'd love to try one, but too afraid to try also---especially after Wha's accident!

Southeast, MA(Zone 6b)

I can remember my Mom using one too without incident but I have never tried one either.
Tonight just spaghetti and sauce with garlic bread.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

I use a pressure cooker to cook my swiss chard, spinach, corn on the cob, clams, ect...
I was taught by my Granmother/Mother that you retain more of the nutrients this way so i've always had one or 2 in my kitchen.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

sometimes the simple things like spaghetti make me so happy

Land of OZ, CT(Zone 6a)

Do not send pressure cooker!!!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

No biggie with the pressure cooker. They don't explode unless you try to remove the top before cooling it off. It's really hard to forget that when you hear the steam. It's a great way to cook - healthier (as Celeste pointed out) and much faster.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

never open the top early - i still have a slight "sun burn" on one side of stomach from cracking it early last summer - and it hurt like hell - not to mention the clean up:)

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

My mom always used one....hmmmm wonder where it is btw???

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

Just received my Eating Well magazine today---it has an article on pressure cooking. We went out for lunch, so soup for supper.
