Love that combo, Jo Ann. That's the way to post lots of pictures and break the one rule. Some great lilies in there too.

I love stokesias.

Jo Ann is a born rule-breaker. I'm sure she was the first one to view my 'Don't look at this thread' thread.

South Hamilton, MA

JoAnne Are the lillies the 'strawberry & cream mix? Ours like that have only a few left because of beetles plus the fact that the oringinal 25 never bloomed very well.

Hannibal, NY(Zone 6a)

That is a beautiful mix. I think I've seen that strawberry and cream mix at White Flower Farms.

You keep those beetles down your way, Lucy.

Naaaa, just kidding, you know. Nothing wrong with relaxing. That's why hammocks were made.

Shade tolerant.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

nice one Jen... I think I can speak for Weeze.. Jack has a great sense of humor

Jersey Shore, NJ(Zone 7a)

No he doesn't know, but yes he has a sense of humor and will find the whole thing funny. That's one of the reasons I keep him. And he vacuums. If he would just learn to cook.......

Jersey Shore, NJ(Zone 7a)

You spoke corretly Allison......how come all the Jersey girls are still up? ;) I'm still full!

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Me too(still full that is)

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

yeah still full belly!!!.. Randy is playing his ps3... but he did get most of the christmas lights in.. just santa & reindeer .. and the arch left.. he didn't do bad today

Hannibal, NY(Zone 6a)

That's wonderful. My Russ has a great sense of humor too. And he vacuums. Tonight he was vacuuming and the vacuum broke a belt, and he came out and got the shop vac and finished. That was above and beyond, I think. He doesn't cook either. At least, not much. He makes a fantastic pizza, out of a Chef Boyardee box mix. Hard to believe, but by the time he's done it's really great.

Good Morning all
Irisma!! Thats bad news about my Strawberries and Cream.
GF gave me a WFF gift certificate and at crismis I was looking for lilies.
I chose the lilies from there because I thought it was the plant least likely to die on route to my house,or die after it got here. as everyone knows I am not a WFF fan, gift certificate was nothing I could have any control over.
Since then I am in lily heaven with many more coming.
TheWFF bulbs will arrive in March or April and I'll let people know what they look like.(not like BuggyCrazy i'll bet).
I patrole the garden everyday and spray every 2 weeks to keep beetles out of the garden.
Beetles are one thing, failure to grow is another matter.
Thanks everyone for your kind reaction to my collages.Patti solved the "more than 6 post " problem , last summer.
She was posting collages of her gardens. Its a quick way to show a lot and not load the thread with pictures.

Catching up again from last night and this am. Love those stokes asters, they bloom for such a long time. Pretty JI from Pirl, very nice. JoAnn makes anther couple of great combos, WC posts a really nice shot of a pretty heuchera, Venu shows us that we need to also relax and enjoy the garden, after all that is what a hammock is for, and to end the day yesterday a pretty little columbine. Today starts out with a gorgeous pic of lupin from Onewish. You all made me order some this year. Also JoAnn comes back with a revised grouping of plants and color that is really stunning. Now here is mine for today. A plant that I thought had gone away but made a big come back last year digitalis mertonensis, perennial Strawberry Foxglove.
