Countdown to spring! One garden photo per day - Part 7
Thanks ngam, I have mine under an awning, they rarely get any moisture and my soil is sandy, full south exposure. love the monarda!
- Super lilies Everyone!!
Monardas are almost wild and will grow anywhere.
I did see some teeeeny leaves on Wed. before it started to snow.
Victor, love that lily pic...what do you mean, cleared it out??? What happened to the bulbs?
Everything was chucked. It was too much of a pain sharing the veggie box and I was not in the mood to transplant so I composted it all.
groan
I know.
Pics are great guys, love em:)
Yes, that was Gillian, you are so right Pirl.
Victor I love your Pink Perfection, I got it in a co-op a few years back, but the bulbs had an issue & we all lost them that year, so I have it coming agin from another co-op this year, I do hope it makes it, as I LOVE your's.
Color Blast-Oh I can't wait to get pics this year, I am so mad I did not get only 1 in 09:(

Very nice, Jen and voices.
Wow - we're over 330 posts already! I'll start a new one later when it's slow.
Have a hummingbird story. We had planted 'Raspberry wine' & waited for the birds to show up. One flew past it & came to a Noid hosta in another bed. Me in a loud voice: 'You're supposed to stop at the monarda!' Bird, 'stupid lady, I'll ignore her too'.
Joy - Victor started a new thread for photos so go here:
