He is awful brave letting them watch it. You know they're going to take it for a ride and hit something. LOL
Mail boxes of the world BEWARE! grin
Lynnie, looks like WOW may be the one who borrowed the stilettos....for his BW....grin
OK I'll drop them in the mail overnight delivery.
Didn't fit anyway, cramped my toes.
Yea Moon going to be busy. The hardest part is getting moving everyday.
I hear Ya JJ. I do not awaken with that SPARK to get'er done....lol
You guys have a good day.
I have to get ready and go to work for a couple hours. Told them I would take her clients today but I am not working Saturdays so they better be finding someone else for her Saturday's.
Catch up later,
Take care...be safe, JJ
Hi there! Ok, I'm dumb, what's a WOW?
All that talk about driving & accidents on the other thread reminded me of the first (yes first) day DS had his permit. Dad took him out, made him so nervous he hit the gas instead of the brake, took down a street sign & ran up on the neighbors lawn. Good thing no one got hurt, there were about 10 kids running up & down the street. Took out the oil pan, though.
Needless to say, we signed him up for driver ed real quick.
how quickly you forget, Smiley,Wow is the dude from the biker bar on our last outing ;) sheesh you musta had more drinks than we thought!
leave the drivers ed to us professionals *grin*
Moon I do NOT want Wow's big hairy feet in my red stilettos! He doesn't even pumice!
Now can WOW pick em or what? Lynnie all he needs now is some pretty red toes slapped around his waste while cruising the biker bars LOL. You two have it goin on! Sparky and Bubba are gonna be soooo envious! Smiley thats funny, sounds like a great decision on drivers Ed. training for son, hope he improved :-) JJ you need those tracks for your shoes that Venice has, thats the ticket while ice skateing through the yards. Moon where do you come up with this stuff? Just gotta keep it goin huh lol. Wanta come finish painting room for me? It will make you feel very useful and I will praise your work! Good Morning everybody! On second cup now!
How silly of me to forget so quickly...
Thats ok Smiley, will have to find one of Sparkys friends for ya, that will help you remember the rides better. Any preference? He has one pal that wears suspenders and carries a bean shooter in his overalls, name is Trouble and think he is smitten with you, I'll give him your phone number. His beer belly looks sortav cute with those biker boots and tassels hanging from the handle bars.
Flowers are those tassels on his handlebars or his lovehandles?
I got my weights in while you were snoozing Flowers....felt like I was gonna pass out, my one meal yesterday wasn't enough to hold me. Little one is getting a belt in karate, so gotta run! I'll be back! (shades of Ahnold)
They are leather and match his masculine tight fitting vest Lynnie. You didn't smudge those toes while sleeping did ya, don't want to make the pedicurist mad if ya have to go back, she might give you an ingrown nail or something lol
Oh Cool, what color is he getting today? My kids got up to brown I think. Tell us about it when you get back.
Lynnie, I was talking about the stiletto boots on the BW...grin. WOW's feet are way too gnarly for fancy shoes....grin
Hey Smiley, DS can join Flowers in the Take out a stop sign for drivers everywhere club....grin. I taught DD to drive...she had a choice and said No Way to her Dad....I took her to an old shopping center that had closed down, but had a huge parking lot. Explained how a clutch works, told her what to do, and then climbed into the passenger seat and let her go. Oh, I did make her remove her shoes first. That is the only way to be able to feel the clutch. After a couple of necksnapping starts, she got going...we cruised around at 10 MPH in first gear for a few minutes and she was doing very well...then she hit a pothole....scared the dickens out of her as it killed the engine...she started to cry about breaking the car....told her if it broke that easy we were in trouble....grin she started the car, we made it into 3rd gear and spent another hour cruising the parking lot before a cop showed up. He suggested a couple places that would better serve, and 2 weeks later DD was the proud owner of a driver's license.
Hi Buddy...sure, I'll paint for ya....will you help me clean popcorn ceilings? LOL
Sure just give me a feather duster and a unicycle Moon lol. Took my kids to a race track that had been shut down and let them practice. Then was working at a park, and after I closed the gate at night would let them cruise in my car on the dirt roads, they loved it. Just glad they didn't drive into the Lake ha ha
My cars were automatic, didn't do stick shift well myself, didn't like the way those cars kept jumping lol. Daughters first car we bought was a stick, never had one and jumped in that thing and took off, I was horrified. Must have took that after her Dad, sure wasn't from me!
I have had nothing but standard transmission vehicles until the BAT. DS said he felt I needed something easier to drive....grin I have always liked the idea that you could push start a stubborn car with a standard transmission...I like options....grin
I have a feather duster and a pogo stick????
That will work Moon, does it come with a helmet lol
Yes ma'am...helmet has a spring on top so you wont go through the ceiling....grin
Well can't wait to see what Gidjet looks like by days end. Just doing the trim, she managed to get paint on her, how I don't know. She just has to be in the middle of everything I do. Took a picture will show ya later lol
Niceeee Moon, will just put paint on feather duster and sponge paint the ceilings while bouncing around the room. That will look so Cooool.
I can paint them dust colored and never have to clean them again...Brilliant Buddy! LOL
Flowers my kids are girls :) she got an orange belt. They take American kenpo.
Two girls and boy took Ti Kwan Do Lynnie, sounds like about the same with the belts. My computer is doing crazy things and downloading stuff I don't want. Gonna do a restore and hope it doesn't wipe me out. A-G-A-I-N. lol Catch yall a little later I hope :-)
Break time, got walls painted but seeing shadows so gonna have to put another coat on, not easy with messed up hands and lungs, but not impossible she says! Who is the computer guru in the bunch, I forgot. This dumb virus protector downloaded on my computer and can't remove it from add/remove program and is popping up every few seconds wanting me to buy it. My last computer guy fixed me good, won't let me restore to another time and date. Son says thats good Mom :-(
Hi everyone , hope you're all having a good Saturday.I went to a local garden centre this afternoon,,just couldn't imagine planting anything at present,my garden, particularly the back one,is so very wet, from melted snow and ice and from the torrential rain we had all day yesterday.Good weather today, though, fairly bright and 39f.I've found a conversion chart for centigrade to fahrenheit, now:},so I don't need to keep working it out.
Moon,I know what you mean with the textured walls and ceilings[at least if that's what "popcorn" means,I do]When I moved into this house,15.5 years ago ,Sam was 2.The walls in the sitting room were done with "Artex",then painted over to make them bumpy textured.They were so sharp,that one time Sam brushed his cheek against the wall as he played and it grazed his skin!!!.Needless to say,I had the wall smoothed back over and re-painted it :}
Hi ya Joy! It warmed up to 35 & sunny here, so I got my car washed.
Popcorn ceilings are textured, but they're not sharp. If you bump them they'll crumble. I don't know how Moon is washing hers, I was about to ask lol I vacuum mine (yes myself, the darn robot doesn't climb walls)
We went out for lunch after karate, and I FINALLY felt full and then got a little nap in :) So nice to have sun coming through the windows.
Lynnie,we always have to do our vacuuming, ceilings, walls etc,no robots here:},yes,it's very good to feel the sun, makes it feel almost "springlike"
Hope you all have a good evening,8.45 here and I've finished clearing away after dinner.
I've just started a new book,so I'm going to sit and read a while :}
Take care everyone
Joy
Lynnie, I thought we would see a photo of some pretty toes!!!
Moon, have you been to Lowe's and asked them about how to paint your ceiling? There is a tool they use to make that rough surface. I wonder if you can you that.
Cool bike!
JJ, I keep thinking about how beautiful and full your wandering jew is. What size was it when you got it ? Surely you didn't start it from these little starts I have. I think it would take me at least several years before I could get mine even close to yours!
Hi Joy, just popped in a minute from painting chore. They usually do a rough paint called stucco ( its a mixture of sand and paint and called motar) that is slathered on outside of houses that have block or cement for wall structures. There is a rough texture that is used on indoor walls but can't think of what it is called. I got the look by adding a store bought sand in a box to add to my paint to give my living room wall that rugged outdoor look, It isn't near as sharp as motar lol. Have a nice read and give family hugs for us.
I have had skating on TV. I haven't really been watching it except for a few glimpses. However, when they mentioned Sasha Cohen, my eyes were pealed to the TV. She had an excellect performance, second place. I love her skating and she is so talented. Some of the skaters are too thin, or just don't look like skaters in form or how they skate. She has it all except when she gets nervous. I sure hope she can get a gold metal this year.
Whoops Venice, I don't have a wandering jew. You must have got it from someone else.
JJ, I thought for sure it was you. It was in the room with so much light ans windows.
Smiley was that you?
Moon, are you there? Or are you in the attic or painting the ceilings?
Have you used these plug systems before? As I understand, after you grow some leaves from the seeds you plant them directly in the ground. Is the right? Or do you transplant them to a bigger pot? If I need to transplant them directly in the ground that means I have to wait quite a while to use the plugs.
I am trying to decided what seeds should go where. Which seeds should go in the plugs or in the small containers in trays or even larger pots?
