Coffee Break #30 - Go Jets!!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

I'm assuming he made his way down the wall somehow, but cannot find the way back up. It may be worth a shot to put some food up there - or the trap with food.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Sometimes it sounds like more than one. Maybe it's babies? Maybe what I did last week did work at keeping the mother out?

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Could be babies and that's why they can't find their way out.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

That's what I'm thinking.

Land of OZ, CT(Zone 6a)

I was thinking that too--hope it's not the case! Have you tried calling the agricultural extension of your local university for information that might help? Too bad we couldn't get your varmint to chase mine! LOL! Meanwhile... Check this out--Mama Mia!

Oh no! That reminds me of a cat that got trapped and died overnight in a fireplace flu. It cried all night and so did I. It wasn't my cat, nor my house, but it was the most traumatic night I've ever had. The next morning someone came to get it out, but it was too late. : (

On a brighter note, Allison, your seedlings look so happy! Where did you get those trays? Those are the kinds I want, but I've only been seeing the ones with the little 1" square cells.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Duh!!!

my wife is going to have to change her password!

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

I know I saw that 2 how dumb can you be?

They said that the reason people use those is that they are easy to remember...hello!!!! write it down.
I have a little black book with all my passwords, of course if I ever lose it I am in BIG trouble.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Sorry Bill didn't mean to call your wife dumb.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

My favorite is PASSWORD.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

just kidding about my better half's password:)

Land of OZ, CT(Zone 6a)

I just changed mine -- unfortunately, the hacker already got me--and mine are devious and twisted--guess the hacker is too...

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

'Devious' and 'twisted'? Cool - I'll have to try them. ^_^

Land of OZ, CT(Zone 6a)

Yup! I'd tell you, but then I'd have to kill you....buwaahaahaahaa!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

No, I meant those were the actual passwords!

Every time I hear Sylvester up there, I think of the movie where the guy used a magnum to shoot a bug on the wall!

Land of OZ, CT(Zone 6a)

Know where I can find that guy?

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

i know a cat he can practice on

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Sylvester seems to be trying to scratch his way out of the wood bump-out above one of my front windows. Every time I bang the ceiling with a baseball bat, he leaves for a while, only to return. Wonder if I should just let him keep going? At least then he won't be doing damage inside, and once ge's done I can fix that hole. Any thoughts?

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

they can chew threw anything - i would not him though

Questa, NM(Zone 5b)

I became an official member of our local garden club today. We don't have a forum for garden clubs here, do we? Anybody in this thread a member of a garden club?

No thoughts on solving your Sylvester problem, Vic. Good luck!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Congrats, Harp. Just a one man club here.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

As Groucho said, I could never join a club that would allow me as a member!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

...or are you just happy to see me????

What would Gumby do?

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

i recently read an article in smithsonian magazine of illegal trade of rare animals - it is a huge market with little oversight

Halifax, MA(Zone 6a)

Yup, that toothbrushing law sounds extreme.

Allison and Aspenhill, I wear black clothes, too. Hey, it goes with anything! No tattoos or piercings here, either.

Sofonisba, that really is sad to see such a young girl behaving like that and having boyfriends that so much older than her. She's heading for trouble, that one. Hope your son figures it out.

Hope you get your squirrel problems fixed, Victor. We constantly have trouble with them getting in our attic.

Karen

Questa, NM(Zone 5b)

He'll figure it all out. Thanks for your concern Karen. I need it! ...sigh...

so tired. I can hardly keep my eyes open. going to bed.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Sounds like he made his way back to the attic, so I'll bring the trap up there.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Good Luck!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Thanks. Complicates things a bit that my little one is sick.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Oh NO! Hope he's feeling better soon Victor, tis the season. :(

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Thanks. His persistent cough must have invited a bacterial infection. Fever, sore throat, red ears...

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

YUK! Is he on antibiotics? Sounds like he might need them on this.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

I'll be picking them up in a while.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Ah, then hopefully he'll be feeling better tomorrow or Friday at least.
Give him a hug and my best please!!
