That is the grandest problem with fixing anything around the house...it makes such a mess. I figured it would only take a day or two before the wonderful skin smoothing gypsum dust got "under your skin".....grin

Lynnie, I'll send you the recipe. If you take 2 graham crackers and sandwich your favorite jam in between, then drizzle some melted chocolate over it, it's really good.

The weather's warmer here,39f today and tommorow and up to a staggering 45 by Friday,or so they say.Rain due on Friday too though,can't have everything:}

The Buffalo's around here are of the plaster cast variety ^_^

They did that about 15 years ago ~ had a bunch of different artists or groups decorate a bunch of huge Bison's. An artist friend of ours did one that's outside the Veterans Hospital, it is decorated like a military buffalo representing all the branches of the service. The one at the dental school is in green scrubs with huge teeth & braces, you get the picture.

Does anyone's city have that type of thing? In Cleveland they have guitars all over the place, because of the rock n roll hall of fame. I think in Charles Schultz's home town there are snoopy doghouses.

Hi Smiley,the artistic Buffalos sound interesting.I can't think of an equivalent that we have here.
We have statues of famous people though,in the towns where they lived,you know,like in Nottingham city,there's a statue of Robin Hood:}

hi all! I went to the gym, met my niece there so my workout was haphazard but I'm sore from the sawz all anyway *grin* I did do an extra 5 minutes of cardio, because she was late.
Then I went to visit my mother, then met some friends for lunch.

Hi Lynnie,I also spent the pm with my Mum.Every Wednesday she has a sitter to stay with my Dad,so she has a little time to herself.She and I went shopping in Chesterfield,that's the nearest town of any size to where we live,about 5miles away,so met her after I finished work.
Am at present cleaning kitchen,good thing I use a Netbook ,it's portable:}

Chesterfield! I was there! That's that cute little town we were talking about some threads ago. A friend got married in that big castle there. We spent 2 days there.

Lynnie,I think that was Chester,there's not a castle actually in centre of Chesterfield,it's just a small market town here in Derbyshire.However,there is Bolsover Castle,about 6 or so miles from centre,which I know does host weddings,so it could be there:}.It's just I think I remember discussing Chester on a thread a while back,but I could be wrong.

Shucks, just posted and walked out of room and missed ya by about 10 minutes Joy. In answer to yours and Moon's questions......The snake is a garden snake that DD bought for the kids, they wanted one don't ask me why lol. They feed it live gold fish every other day or so. Picture of son in law and GS and Pepper was taken outside of their home when I dropped GS off. Moon will paint room when energy level is higher lol. Maybe will start tomorrow as its supposed to rain all day. Joy the little mouse was cute. Here I am trying to catch them and you are feeding them LOL. I bought new traps yesterday, laid one down and haven't found it yet. Hate it when I do that :-) We have no ryme or reason here Smiley, just all over the map with different themes in different sections of city, its according where you go in a 30 mile radius.Of course all the schools have their mascots out front of the schools. Lynnie get to work, you've gooffed off long enough. We are gonna have Zoo day tomorrow at 7:30 and all the animals are gonna be named after a gypsi, so lets have fun.

What I meant by the artwork is that they are all the same, we have buffalo's all over the city. They are just all decorated differently.

Well Cleveland must be a very musical place Smiley. Have several members on Dads side that are musically talented but the only thing I can play is the radio. JJ sorry you are having such a time over there, man you Lynnie,Smiley, and Kassy get hammered with the cold stuff. Temps have been nice here last few days with rain setting in tomorrow I think. Fowers, really cute kid photo, baby photo, snake and puppy photos. I don't think I would like a snake for a pet.

The other day I was thinking that maybe Kitty needs another kitty here. Maybe if she saw how real kitties act, maybe she would catch on and become a little different. I think I am dreaming though!

Well wasn't my first choice either Venice, but they wanted something that wasn't that hard to take care of with them being gone alot. Kids love it. I think Kitty is happy, just set in her ways and would probably be really jealous if you brought another one in.
