Smallwoods is interst ing it was a bonus last year.
Ge1836 It is my first order with them, but after seeing all the posts about them, I figured I would join the madness. I could have just thrown a dart to make my choices. Too many. Patti
If you lost any of the ones you sent me Jada.. I can always send some back.. and the ones from Dale.. I would have to take photos of.. don't know the names
About ordering things:
I just got the LeeValley catalogue and have been looking for a sprayer for the many Lilies I have all of a suden grown.
I am interested in a large capacity sprayer and am considering their rolling sprayer.

I would consider the back pack but think it might be difficult to put it on.
Anybody have anything to say about it?
never tried one like that... sorry.. but I do love Lee Valley
If you can get to the areas easily with a hose, I still find the hose end sprayers are best for me to use. I had a backpack one, and hated it. And the pump ones are quite hard to pump, for me, anyway.
I love LV too. I want a large sprayer too.
DH got a new sprayer from Santa in Dec, but he never showed it to me. He started doing all the spraying years ago when I got Asthma. Lucky for me that after it miraculous went away, he has continued. No complaints from me. I will check out which one he got. He mostly sprays just to keep the critters from eating everything. I think he likes to make up his own super stinky recipes to annoy them. Patti
Thanks everyone. The critter and bugs are anoying.
The lily family just keeps getting bigger and the march of the perimiter keeps getting longer.
DD says no to the sprayer because refill trips to the garage are good wxersize for me.
TUFF - NOOGIES
When has a mother ever listened.
I'm getting the rollaround even tho its probably easier on the 10 feet width of the driveway than it is on the lawn. It holds 3 gallons.I'm with it.
Hope it works well for you JoAnn. The long reach sounds helpful too. I just ordered two of the usual pump sprayers too. Mostly for the lilies and roses. One for feeding and one for bug spraying. If you have a large level area the wheels sound sensible to me.
Its also the weight. I have several sprayers with diff. solutions in them. The repellents sprayer is big enough for one pass of the gardens. The sprayer for the redlily beetle et al, is just too small .
Could it be too small because you keep buying more lilies? Hee hee he
Youve got that right.
I know there are REALLY big lily gardens on the website but I have gone from 4 White Henriis at the old house 3 yrs ago( no red beetles) to over 70 varieties ,200 bulbs here.
I'm working on a shrinking line of body strength disapearing and increasing plants to tend.
I simply have to stop making more gardens.
Last years Lazagna was IT.
DD has a place to plant vedgs and I took the rest for a garden I can see from my computer.
ALL if the gardens are on a hill.
reciepe for disaster.
Gardening on a hill is no fun and extremely dangerous......ask Allison!! Her poor ankles can't take much more. You be very careful!!!!
I had about 7 different kinds of lilies.... then I came to DG and BAM! I have so many now I can no longer keep track of their names. ^_^
ahhhhmen sister
Gardening will keep you strong and healthy, and you body may incline instead, along with the ground.
I had hear of shorter leg on one side of cows who graze on steap hills.
Wonder which of my legs will take the hit.
If you're right handed, the right one, as that will be the one uphill, where the left leg will be downhill holding you up. Your left leg will also become stronger. It may also turn green.
Would rather not comment on my short leg.
Hope it's not green.
Only the new growth.
OMG, Victor!
You instigated!
So that's why my right leg is shorter than the left. Big hill when we lived in CT. although that was pony paddock. Do I have to remove lift from shoe when I walk the opposite way to garden?
Youse guys are funny!!!
LOL you guys are too much! ^_^
This is getting kind of long.

OMG jumpin down here quick like a bunny! Onewish should I start my coleus this early ?!?!?
OMG I just saw the baby sproutlings!!! Off to get organized!
I started mine real early this year... why.. because I can... they take a while to get going from seed... and I can always do cuttings later on if they are large enough.. more to share!!
FOILED by the iced up garden shed ARGH! Chinooks are the kiss of death with the freeze/thaw freeze/thaw thing! Note to self: do not store your indoor growop stuff in the garden shed ever again. Note to self (2): the garden shed is old and crumbly but a cool, funky ole garden shed and you will regret kicking in the door with your ninja skills, no matter how tempting, so walk away and live vicariously through onewish's coleus babies until such time as the door will open. O the sacrifices one must make.
oh so sorry my dear... hope it thaws out soon
Me too! Now please more baby sproutling pics ^_^
I will do that tomorrow.. off to bed now... you just make me giggle
