Southeast, MA(Zone 6b)

Stating to sound like Bill is getting hooked on the geraniums, another obsession in the making. :)
Victor that is a lovely way to browse, with a GC just waiting to be used up, fun.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

funny pat - no more for me - ordered 8 or 9 last year i think this is enough

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

I did too! ^_^

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

I am giving the geranium seeds another try this year.. not too good last.. but not much was outstanding last year.. this lady I know told me to take cuttings off the seedlings and root them.. the cuttings will grow stronger than momma.. worth a shot

Southeast, MA(Zone 6b)

I should be getting my new sprayer delivered today or tomorrow. Needed a new one this year , the old one's nozzle went missing and the vacuum valve didn't hold up very well. It was a cheap one I grabbed when it's predecessor died. Got a brass nozzle one again so should last a while for what I use it to spray. It is the old pump and spray kind. They have them on wheels, as backpacks, and battery powered, even some rechargeable ones. I do not spray that much to need all that and besides the battery one would drive me crazy if it pooped out in the middle of spraying and I didn't have more batteries to put in the thing. Anyway the pumping is good exercise that I can use after sitting around all winter looking at the darn snow.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

woo hoo.. seed starting has begun!!!

Southeast, MA(Zone 6b)

Nice job. Going to have some very nice gardens and photos here this season I think. Can you feel that spring fever thing creeping into your head a little more each day?

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Whoaa!!!!!!

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

I hate to tink there will be more snow but up here it's a certainty. Meanwhile the temps will be in the 40's for the next 3 days.
My galanthus are peeking out of the ground.

Hannibal, NY(Zone 6a)

You have ground!!!!!!!!!Jo Ann!!!!!!!!!

Nice group of geraniums Bill. Biokovo is a super good spreader.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

I read Farmers Almanac and we re due for more snow in Feb.

Hannibal, NY(Zone 6a)

Oh, I'm sure we will get plenty more.

Southeast, MA(Zone 6b)

Feb is usually on average the snowiest month around here so no doubt we will get a few more servings. On the encouraging side if they are correct about the start of Feb. that fat furry bugger will not see his shadow, so an early spring. Sounds like a plan to me, all silly superstitions are good when they help so I say this is a good one, at least this year if it works out. Otherwise someone lock the darn door behind him so he can't get back in, sheesh.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

good - the rain sunday/monday will melt much of what we have now.

thx polly i ordered biokovo last year from another source and it did not make it, same with sweet heidi. all i ordered from gerariaceae were good size so hoping for better results. if the others make a miraculous return all the better.

Hannibal, NY(Zone 6a)

If this Biokovo doesn't gow for you Bill, let me know. I have tons. I think I sent Jo Ann some last year, and they have multiplied like crazy since. I know I have quite a few potted up.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

I'm off to watch The Tudors

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

Yes you did Polly and they are grabbing on nicely.I love the shape of the flower

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

thx for the offer polly

Hannibal, NY(Zone 6a)

You're welcome Bill. Seriously, let me know if you need some.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

My Biokovo have not spread much. I've had it for two or three years now.

Southwest , NH(Zone 5b)

Wow, Allison! That's some list! Sadly, I lost most of my coleus when we had the freeze here. I covered them every night, and each day they looked fine until the morning after it rained all day on the sheets and then froze that night. My tomatoes that were covered got hit as well. Here's a shot of how they looked before the demise.

Oh, sorry Louise

Hannibal, NY(Zone 6a)

My Biokovos are about a two feett in each direction after three years. The first year they didn't do much. They do like water.

Southwest , NH(Zone 5b)

Thanks, Debi. They look pretty lame right now. But there will be more coleus if I can find some pretty chartreusey ones to fill up the gaps. The coleus at HD and Lowes is pretty ordinary stuff here. I really liked the way the chartreuse color contrasted with the surrounding colors.
