What have you ordered 2010 #2.

Calgary, AB(Zone 3a)

BONUS I discovered I still have $32.97 in free money from my 2009 orders according to my Free Money Budget theory. Now back to dahlia shopping! ^_^

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

will do joann

Southwest , NH(Zone 5b)

Oh how exciting, Dahlia!! Free Money! Go to town with your ordering!!

Bill and JoAnn, have you seen "Sweet Heidy" from Plant Delights Nursery? I really like that one, and may order it. I also like their Pink Penny. I have to wait and see what our new door and backyard fence here cost, along with a new subroof for our front porch. That one is not a fun thing like the new puppy play yard is!

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

i ordered sweet heidy last year and i think it was one that did not make it - very nice and will reorder again

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

I bought many last year
Midnight Reider
Hocus Pocus both dark leaved plants, some made it others didnt.
I also bought locally a white and a Brookside ,blue.Spring will reveal if they made it.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

I had Margaret Wilson it died.I wont do business with that nursery again. Many plants poorly packed and totally dry with bare roots due to drysoil draining out of pots.
I also bought HocusPocus and MidnightReiter ,dont know if they will come back.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

Holycow Miller Nurseries is almost next door.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Oh boy!!

S of Lake Ontario, NY(Zone 6a)

JoAnn I got both raspberries and blueberries from Millers and was happy with both.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Thats good to know Deb, DH was looking at there fruit tree prices, did you by chance get a look at any?

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

I bought my Hops vine from them. It was great and went everywhere including the studio roof

Southeast, MA(Zone 6b)

Lots of temptation there guys. I have 'Sweet Heidi'. Beware pics that make it look blue, it is not, at least not in my garden. I will try to find a pic of it. Last summer was its second season here. Nice plant and came through the winter fine.
Okay here is a pic , not very good I'm afraid but the color is about right.

I bought for height and leaf color. I wanted hardy Ger's to infiltrate the lilies.

Calgary, AB(Zone 3a)

pixie I tried to grow splish splash from seed and it didn't germinate for me :( I need to try it again though as they are SO prettiful.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

celeste there were a couple in your links that are on my list plenum, biokovo, and maybe splish slash - that one keeps getting good comments.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Biokovo is nice. I personally like the macros better. Ingwersen and Bevan. Nice thick fragrant leaves. Fall color is not as good, though.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Love Splish Splash, it would be wonderful if it was really blue! ^_^

Bought Ballerina something and another last year, can't remember at the moment.

S of Lake Ontario, NY(Zone 6a)

Celeste I did not look at the fruit trees.
A woman I worked with also ordered from Miller's, I don't think she is a real gardener. She had trouble with her raspberries and they either replaced or refunded without a problem, but I think it was her fault.
Another woman I work with said the raspberry plants I gave her didn't survive, I asked her if she watered them, no she didn't...

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Yup, that could be a problem! LOL

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

She probably figured the built-in raspberry juice would suffice!

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

i have had good luck with millers

Southwest , NH(Zone 5b)

That's a great list, Celeste. I really love that splish splash cultivar!

We have bought from Miller Nurseries for years. Our best friends live on the same road and almost next door, and we met the Millers at one of their birthday parties. Many of our fruit trees were from Millers. Top quality, in our experience.

I think this is THE year for me to buy splish splash!!!!

Nice choices Ge! Did you go halfs with someone on the odrer? Thats the way to go w/The Lilynook
I'd have to make it worth my while to order from them by myself, $15.00 for shipping up to $150 plus the $15.00 Phytosanitary Certificate charge ..$30 in shipping w/out the bulbs added. Thats why I try not to go look there.
BUT, I did! UGH!!!!! They have one called 'Tiffany'!

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

I only buy their pot lilies.
I agree they are expensive.I didnt go halves.

Southeast, MA(Zone 6b)

I am not looking at either site. No orders until Feb. for me. Those lilies look very tempting JoAnn. Your garden is getting more gorgeous by the day.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

thats what i like to hear LOL
