Me either. If Ebert and them dont like it, I know I will:-)
That's Entertainment!!
lol
They raved about "American Beauty" years ago, won all kinds of awards. I hated it.
I do Netflix too, but some movies are better viewed in the theater. I go early to the first showings in the morning, which are cheaper and less crowded. Somethimes I'm the only one in there and I get the dead center seat, put my feet up, eat my chinese food and enjoy:-)
I didnt get American Beauty either. It even has a sequel, doesnt it?
How many of you have one of those theater rooms????
HUGE trend in CO, I think every new house has one and all the older ones get them put in. I guess unless you like winter sports nothing else to do during the winter there.
Ugh, they made a second one??
To me theater rooms in homes are like bowling alleys in homes. But then, if I had one I might change my view..
I can think of lots of other things I would prefer having before a theater room no matter how much money I had. Nothing is worth watching on TV or movies for that expense.
Very expensive!! My cuz has one.
Definitely agree. For that money i could build a brick based and glass greenhouse in the victorian style. (my deam).
jada. that is what I'd have too, always wanted a GH
jada--me three! Heck...I'd be happy with one of those Edwardian terrariums--looks like those greenhouses, and I'd put african violets and perhaps ferns inside w/little miniatures...
How about a large GH with a theater and bowling alley?
Might as well go whole hog, Victor:-)
I like this one.

and this
Kind of small.
yea, have to go with two lanes instead of 6 :-)
LOL. Yea, I think I could fit a "few" coleus in there :-)
I just keep the left wing for coleus.
Well, of course my dear! According to the lastest theorems of conservatory etiquette published by that most esteemed botanist, the left wing is AlWAYS reserved for coleus, madam. And of course the right for orchids. I say ole chap,it is getting close to tea time. Join me for crumpets?
^_^
LOL!
my wife went with her mom to see up in the air and said it was bad.
avatar in 3D must be great - and as for the blue women - my wife and mil wanted to know how to get those thin waists:)
Now there is a big bruhaha over whether Avatar is racist!
Oh ya mean like this one??

Just read a Yahoo article top 10 anticipated come back tv shows
#1 was Keeping Up With the Kardashians Really????
did not realize harry Reid was in avatar?
I loved "American Beauty". To each, his own, I guess. Never heard of a sequel, though. Maybe you're thinking "American Pie"?
I don't have a home theater, unless you count my 27" tube TV in my living room. We don't have cable, so we pretty much use it exclusively for dvds. I'll take the conservatory over a theater/bowling alley any day! Add a mud room to that, and a potting room... oh, my imagination! How about a special area for starting seed trays and such?
Avatar? Racist? Hmmm, that's a new one. I think the "bad guys" are made out to be the military. Pretty blatant there.
That's pretty pathetic about the reality shows. Two of the sisters are pretty hot, but do they actually have any talent at all?!!
they are rumored to be white livered
I guess thats a talent:-)
Certainly is.
No cable here either, our 2 tube Tv's are used for DVD's & Tapes, we totally turned off to broadcast Tv a few years ago.
I've heard about the anti-military aspects of Avatar. Not surprising.
Yeah well - I see avatars since last wednesday. My eye that I talked about with Twisted Sister is screwed up. Long story - I can hardley see outta my left eye that got scratched in the garden in 08. Emergency room Sat. and DR today and they dont know what is going on. The kicker - no insurance, no coverage. The real kicker em room had me go buy a bottle of eye drops ...............134 bucks and the doctor today said dont take them now! 134 bucks for drops divided by 8 drops since saturday - go figure.
Sorry - I am fretting.
Ugh - feel better, Sherrie! Having scratched my cornea last year, I really sympathize.
That's terrible! I'm keeping my hands away from my eyes from now on! - at least until I wash up!!
Mine will never heal. BUT now that is not the problem. I have pressure that is soaring out of controll in the scratched eye. The doc which is a eye doctor ( medical operating licensed MD) He has no idea what is going on. I go back weds. If the pressure dont go down - I have no clue what will happen. I have not had my eyes examined since 1968. All the Dr.s are freaking out as they have nothing to go on.
Glaucoma??
My MIL has glaucoma, she takes drops the bring down the pressure, but she started too late, she went totally blind 7yrs ago.
