here is Chamaecyparis pisifera boulevard and some rodies
Countdown to spring! One garden photo per day - Part 4
That's a really nice azalea!
That was I think my one only impulse plant buy at HD. I usually have to have a plan where I'm putting something but when I saw it I just had to have it. It was in a container all summer till I figured out where I was planting it.
Beautiful, Jen.
beautiful Jen!
nice!
Thanks. Don't even remember where it is!
You're too young to be forgetting already, Victor. It's lovely.
You know you have too many Japanese maples when............
You know when you have more than Victor or Wha....not even close, nor ever will.
Victor, Nice shot for your neglected child. Patti
Thanks! I know it's somewhere in my garden!
70 more days!
how can you not know where it is? bad gardener!
especially a jm
I have a few very nice seedlings around the garden. No clues in the pic.
Camelias I thought were hardy to zone 7, I'll have to check into that.
Yes - usually 7.
You must be borderline 7 at least. Is it in a protected area?
I'm sure Jen could sneak it in.
I think I'm actually in a colder micro climate.
More wonderful shots. I have been seeing a lot about that fuzzy geum lately, might have to look into it. Foxgloves are one of my fav. plants. Anything that plants itself and looks gorgeous is a winner for sure and the nice colors are a bonus. Rhodies and azaleas(?) mean it is warm and time for really getting digging in the garden, can't wait. More great color from a JM and I hope you locate it so more pics this fall. Crabapple trees make me think of being a kid and climbing on the neighbors trees. Beautiful all.
With the temp in the single digits I need a sunny pic today that feels like early summer. A noid lily bloom with a friend.
Temp is 7° at the moment--do we ever need flower pictures!
Great shot, Pat!!
Love the color echoes, Pat.
Speaking of spring blooms....very nice article of the day on Hellebore, Victor! I learned a couple of things, propagation, and...that you are more fertile than most. LOL!
Waaaaaait for it - !!
I dread to see his reply
You're behaving! What went wrong?
Lovely JI, Victor.
I just got back from church! Which one is it, Pirl??
Pretty shot, WC! Any fragrance?
Hee hee, JD! Nice colors. I should have started a new thread. I'll wait for a lull.
None whatsoever that I can determine, don't know why they would call it 'Citronella', it attracts a multitude of very tiny flying insects, I guess they smell sugar!
That's what I was wondering - where the name came from.
