Here's that azalea I'm still looking for an id for. Blooms on and off all spring, summer and into fall.

Eastern Long Island, NY(Zone 7a)

That's a really nice azalea!

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

That was I think my one only impulse plant buy at HD. I usually have to have a plan where I'm putting something but when I saw it I just had to have it. It was in a container all summer till I figured out where I was planting it.

(Arlene) Southold, NY(Zone 7a)

Beautiful, Jen.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

beautiful Jen!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Great shots! Love them all.

Here's a JM seedling.

nice!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Thanks. Don't even remember where it is!

(Arlene) Southold, NY(Zone 7a)

You're too young to be forgetting already, Victor. It's lovely.

Hannibal, NY(Zone 6a)

You know you have too many Japanese maples when............

Nantucket, MA(Zone 7a)

You know when you have more than Victor or Wha....not even close, nor ever will.

Victor, Nice shot for your neglected child. Patti

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Thanks! I know it's somewhere in my garden!

70 more days!

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

how can you not know where it is? bad gardener!

especially a jm

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

I have a few very nice seedlings around the garden. No clues in the pic.

Questa, NM(Zone 5b)

Wonderful shot Victor. ngam, love that Honky Tonk Blues. That's going on my 'must get' list. Same with Patti's geum. Bill, your row of rhodies is breathtaking. Yummmmmm

Jen, can you grow camelias down there? That azalea looks a little like one.

Camelias I thought were hardy to zone 7, I'll have to check into that.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Yes - usually 7.

Questa, NM(Zone 5b)

You must be borderline 7 at least. Is it in a protected area?

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

I'm sure Jen could sneak it in.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

I think I'm actually in a colder micro climate.

Southeast, MA(Zone 6b)

More wonderful shots. I have been seeing a lot about that fuzzy geum lately, might have to look into it. Foxgloves are one of my fav. plants. Anything that plants itself and looks gorgeous is a winner for sure and the nice colors are a bonus. Rhodies and azaleas(?) mean it is warm and time for really getting digging in the garden, can't wait. More great color from a JM and I hope you locate it so more pics this fall. Crabapple trees make me think of being a kid and climbing on the neighbors trees. Beautiful all.
With the temp in the single digits I need a sunny pic today that feels like early summer. A noid lily bloom with a friend.

Temp is 7° at the moment--do we ever need flower pictures!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Great shot, Pat!!

(Arlene) Southold, NY(Zone 7a)

Love the color echoes, Pat.

Land of OZ, CT(Zone 6a)

Speaking of spring blooms....very nice article of the day on Hellebore, Victor! I learned a couple of things, propagation, and...that you are more fertile than most. LOL!

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

Waaaaaait for it - !!
I dread to see his reply

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Hee hee - thanks! And I use no protection...I didn't know it was repeated.

Here is a JI from June.

Lovely JI, Victor.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

I just got back from church! Which one is it, Pirl??

Eastern Long Island, NY(Zone 7a)

Lots of blooms there Harper, a lovely herald of spring!
Nice shot ngam! Looks like your friend is coming out to have his pic taken!
Beautiful Iris Victor!

May 20th 2009: Achillea 'Citronella' (¼" blooms)

Long Beach, CA(Zone 10a)

Evidently Victor was successful in dodging the lightning that struck as he entered the church...the effects reached clear across the country and fast forwarded us in to Spring:

Pretty shot, WC! Any fragrance?

Hee hee, JD! Nice colors. I should have started a new thread. I'll wait for a lull.

Eastern Long Island, NY(Zone 7a)

None whatsoever that I can determine, don't know why they would call it 'Citronella', it attracts a multitude of very tiny flying insects, I guess they smell sugar!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

That's what I was wondering - where the name came from.
