Countdown to spring! One garden photo per day - Part 3
That will be a traffic stopper some day.
Pretty red Azalea!
- love the iris!
Beautiful tulip Dahlianut!
Pirl has several gardens, and crops! Tremendous amount of work, but well worth it as the pic proves! - A labor of love!
April 19/20th of every year: Magnolia; about 200lbs of leaves there, (I know ... I pick them all up or else they'll kill the grass and stink up the neighborhood!) lol!
Portions blacked out to preserve my anonymity, after all ... this IS New York! LOL!
Oh my, how gorgeous. We have a lovely huge magnolia, and about every five years get nice blooms. The other years the frost gets it.

Thanks, I think mine has anti-freeze for sap! lol
Came with the house, sometimes it flowers 2x/ year, have to trim it every year or else It'll stretch over the neighbor's driveway and take out our telephone lines! lol!
Mine blooms twice a year too. The first time the frost usually gets it, and the second time the bloom is small and sparse.
watercan2 that's gorgeous....are you the mayor? ;)
Nope, we don't have mayors here, we have 'town supervisors', (which do nothing, lol)
- Sometimes I feel I'm just the groundskeeper here, the squirrels & the birds own the place! lol!
- Lovely Iris!
Wow - great shots today! I'll start a new thread shortly.
