Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

your lucky!

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

My back is not feeling lucky Bill. :(
The rain/warmer temps made it very heavy....48 degree's at 10 am was strange.

Huron, OH(Zone 5b)

mid 20's here. Calling for that all week.

South Hamilton, MA

Temp prediction up & down for the week. Snow very dry & light, but there is a lot of it around. Hope it melts for pixie's grill before summer as I think more is coming next weekend.

(Zone 5b)

those poor people in Peru!

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

(Zone 5b)

sshhh!
*grin*

S of Lake Ontario, NY(Zone 6a)

It is just 14 but way less wind, was able to do 3 miles today without a problem.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

It's 36 which is strange, but im not complaing. ^_^

Southeast, MA(Zone 6b)

Well I am pleased to report the sun is shining finally, it's 20 degrees and if the wind would ease up a bit it might even feel like 20 degrees. All and all not bad for the first week in Jan. Should have normal temps in the 30s for highs and 20s at night the next few days with sunshine. I will take it. Hope the six inches or so of white fluff melts a little before the next batch comes in maybe this weekend.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Yes - warm spell in S. China! 19 and breezy here. Sunny and clear.

The world is freezing!

It shows that weather is variable in spite of scientists who know everything. In the 20s here & bright .

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

That's for sure. Where's the warming when you want it?!!

Suns out and above 30.

Florida !

Nantucket, MA(Zone 7a)

Vt is lovely today. Bright and sunny and it is 31* and no snow. Glad the snow has stopped for Pixie. Patti

Huron, OH(Zone 5b)

26° and stopped snowing for the moment. We're to get lake effect snow showers all day. It comes from Canada across the great lakes and dumps on us. Can't wait for the lake to freeze to shut off the snow machine!

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

here are a couple shots of the snow from the other night - alberta spruce

Fla is freezing too. Nice shot Wha. We had an icy drive up from NYC last night until we north of Springfield when it was fine. Patti

(Ronnie), PA(Zone 6b)

Pretty shots Wha!

31 and still real windy here.

Southwest , NH(Zone 5b)

Brrrrrrrrrr! Reading all of your posts has me shivering here! Our temp outside on my palm tree thermometer was 32 degrees this morning, but I didn't see any frost or any ice in the birdbaths. I did cover a lot of stuff last night, but all week the temps at night are supposed to be in the 30s, so I kept the sheets handy by the gardens! It is in the 50s now and still pretty chilly with the wind. One puppy walk down and 2 still to go!

Bill - that's a very pretty shot of your Alberta spruce with the lights and snow on it!

Pixie - my heart just lurched when I read about the missing kid on the lake. It hurts to think about what the family are going through. Keep us posted if there is a miracle! You be careful too in all of that freezing, snowy weather!!

WC - Orlando has it worse than we do 3 + hours south, and I hear they are really concerned about the citrus groves in the middle of the state. For us, the cold has sweetened our tangelo juice nicely. Our crop is still not as tasty as last year. Our Meyer Lemon juice is making great lemonade though!!

The Blue Moon was gorgeous here.....did anyone else have a really pretty sighting of it?

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

COLD

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

My skin has been blue, Louise!

Eastern Long Island, NY(Zone 7a)

Ahh, I thought so... citrus prices should go up, well at least you have a crop Donniebrook!

30°, windchill 21°, wind WNW 13mph, mostly cloudy

Southwest , NH(Zone 5b)

Hi Jen. How are you doing???

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Hey Louise, I'm ok. I just have no desire to cook, but will eat if you put food in front of me. So unless hubby wants to starve he needs to do the cooking. This cold weather is not helping just want to curl up and read or sleep.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

love the shot of the spruce Bill... 19 now going up to a big ole 28.. possible flurries
