Enjoy the new additiions, Pixie, and sorry about the loss of photos.

Love the bleeding heart, Louise. They always pose so nicely. That raindrop on the scilla is picture perfect, Victor. So is the white tulip, WC.

Jo Ann - love the whimsy!

Nameless (to me) tulip that started to bloom in late April.

"Silent he sits"?
Just waiting for another chance to spring forth with bon mots of witt and merriment.

(Arlene) Southold, NY(Zone 7a)

He is supposed to be standing in the corner: sitting is not allowed.

He is not supposed to have a computer in the corner.

Honestly, our dog listens better than Victor!

Nantucket, MA(Zone 7a)

Here is a perfect Christmas tulip, 'Flaming Spring Green' in May. I might try to force some next year for xmas. I think it makes my top 5 of favorite tulips. Though I can be fickle. I buy a few of it each year.

Off to get a tree stand, we will put the tree up tomorrow. Kind of laid back this year. Patti

Hi all. I usually hang out in the Mid Atlantic forum (live in Virginia), but have recently been browsing thru your posts in the NorthEast forum too. You guys sure seem to have a lot of fun. This shot is of peonies 'Vivid Rose' - usually bloom around Memorial Day and have a wonderful fragrance. Terri

Welcome Terri! Please post anytime - especially on this thread with more shots like that! Very nice. And the statue shows how we feel some spring!

What an exuberant picture.

Thomaston, CT

Must plant more tulips---although they always look better in someone else's garden! Nice photo, Terri---Victor, you are a bad boy----coal in your stocking!

Questa, NM(Zone 5b)

Great shots everyone! Welcome Terri! Joyce is from Virginia too! Love those peonies. It's hard to choose a favorite flower, but I think peonies rank up there for me.

Questa, NM(Zone 5b)

Ooops. Forgot a pic. Daffs. These smelled fantastic. I'm so sad though, because they never returned. I think they were the less hardy narcissus. Boo Hoo!!

Tomorrow morning DS and I will be flying to New Mexico for the holiday break. I'll check in when I can while I'm gone!

Merry Christmas, Happy Hannuka, Happy Kwanzaa, Happy New Year Everyone!

Harper

Thanks for the warm welcome! This picture is summer vs spring blooms and is a throwback from 1960, but one of my all time favorites - my grandmother in her rose garden. Terri
