I only made 3 different kinds, Venice, although I do have to make more for tomorrow. And Wed. And Thurs. Maybe I can save some of these ;)

they just changed our forecast from 6 inches to 7-15 inches....ooookaaaay

Walking in a winter wonderlanddd. Hey buddys, Lynnie those cookies look yummy and glad you are sharing as you would have to go 7 days a week to the Gym to work all those off :-) Sounds like you are gonna get what we did, fill the bathtub with water now and hang on for a topsy turvy snowride. Joy sounds like it may be headed your way too. Bisquits to us is a breakfast, lunch, or supper delight that can be eaten with all sorts of foods and one of my weaknesses for sure, especially with bacon,egg, and cheese between one lol.Smiley hope you and Mom had a good time today. Moon you are on top of the gift thing good for you. Venice hope you and JJ are doing well and without all this new snow. Dixie is jammin down at Christmas Office Party and having a blast I hope.

It has been doing that light wet snow all day and most for it has melted. Just slushy rain!!! And I really don't mind missing all that 12-24 inches of snow!!!! You girls stay warm and becareful out there on the road.

I will be mailing just Christmas presents on Monday. Then mailing the rest later, GD birthday 31st and DS birthday 29th. I think I will make bookmarkers for their books. Any good ideas?

Flowers, don't feel bad..........We had 14 inches and they had 18 inches to the south of us in that storm that we had.

And we have another one that may be coming in on Christmas Eve. And of all thing, that is the night I have to drive the long drive out to the old house I worked at again! rolling eyes here.

Haven't been on, have too much to do, got tree decorated today and some candy made. And a candy recipe e-mailed to my DIL that she wanted. More candy to be made tomorrow and cookies.

I think I hit my chocolate buy of all time...even the checkout lady said" I am a chocolate addict but honey you got me beat hands down." I had to explain it waas a great buy and they will keep in the freezer and who cares if the milky ways aren't shaped like trees.

Ready... I found the BIG bags of candy bars that are usually almost $5 for $2 a piece and bought drum roll.......7 miky way, 5 three musketeer, 5 peanut butter cup,4 hershey chocolate, 2 almond joy, 1 snicker and 1 pay day.... (8 bags I got for my sister)

Then get this... the check out girl was going on break when she was done with me so she asked if there were any left and what isle they were in.

Got all my groceries and my friends groceries and my last few things.
If I don't have it , they ain't getting it.

DS and family will be going to the beach for Christmas. My DIL's mother and husband have this stunning beach house. Looks like it came from a magazine! I will try to plan that their gifts get there on Dec. 26 when they get back. So I have plenty of time.

I weighed most of the things I am sending them, I will be lucky if the package is under 45 pounds!!!! Part of their Christmas gift is postage!

My DIL wanted more of these glass snack plates from GW. I also got some great unique salad plates with many colors. Plus I got 4 books for DS and one for GD. Some Trader Joe's Vodka spaghetti sauce for my son. Just those things weighed 40 pounds!

No more shopping except to get some things from the grocery. No GW or anything! I get so panicky until everything is done even though I only have a few things to do.

We got a couple inches of snow. It is going to be in the mid 30's for the next couple of days so it will go away.

All of you snow bunnies take shelter and try to keep warm!!!

Venice that sounds like a big package! When I was mailing stuff to you-know-where ;) I used two smaller boxes, I think it was cheaper. You've probably been doing this long enough to know your best options, though. How far are you mailing it? Your DG must get so excited to see that box! :

today I'm going to make a cream of broccoli soup (some for me some for mother) and my little one has a cookie swap so we have to make cookies for that, and I want to clean and of course we have to play in the snow!
I got some wheat flower, I'd like to make some bread to go with the soups i made. I also got my mother the new Mitch Albom book.

Sounds like a nice day planned. I'm sure your Mom will love her book. Soup and cookies sound pretty darn good too! Save me some. Ya know the left overs wont go to waste where I'm concerned. Grin

Good morning all. Most of you are probably off doing things. I think my day consists of the grocery store... and wrapping. I'll post that I'm going to wrap, then end up doing something else.

Note to fortune cookie makers: buy them. Very tough to make. Batch #1 didn't turn out. Too thick, then too thin. So I said heck with it. Then, couldn't stand the thought that a recipe got the best of me ~ what's a homemade basket with store-bought fortune cookies?? So I tried again. Batch #2 is passable, as least everyone will know they're homemade, no mistaking that. It's the thought that counts.

Lynnie, don't you hate when a cold restaurant ruins your dining experience? Can't get the fork to your mouth because your hand is shaking. I think you guys are getting hit right about now with the snow, have fun making snowmen.

Good luck at the PO Venice. When we lived in MI I was so excited when the box from Buffalo came. Your GD will be excited, I'm sure.

Marti001, DH's grandparents & mom grew up in Somerset, small world! The old town of Somerset is so quaint, I loved visiting, we would sit & watch the grass grow. Very relaxing.
