what I said was I think I made people mad by asking it. I learned me lesson I won't ask questions unless the involve plants

My only question was why it mattered since you do not celebrate the holiday? No one cared that you asked, and many tried to answer

I staying made them all mad at me right now anyway cause I asked an honest question of the christians...but no one can answer me...so now they won't talk to me...put me in the bad corner for a time out...pout...LOL

Why do we celebrate Christmas (and don't give me the malarky about Christ's birth since this is NOT when he was born but when he DIED)
Easter is when he was born...why did it get changed?

(Just like Thanksgiving was originally in September but President Lincoln changed it to November hoping the civil war would be over and the troops would be home to celebrate with thier families!)

Christmas is a day used to commemorate the birth of Jesus not the actual day he was born as there are many different theories as to what day and month he was born.

Easter is the day Christians celebrate the resurrection of Jesus after his crucifixion. It was not the day he was born. It was the day he was re-born so to speak.

So trina....JJ gave you an answer!

Oh, and I guess my question would be why anyone would have 5 trees if they do not celebrate it. Yet you said "Why do WE celebrate Christmas".

the BF and his Kids do celebrate christmas...I do not

I did answer as to why Christmas was celebrated when it is

Trina I just don't discuss religion (or politics) with anybody. They're hot button issues and this is a relaxing place for me to be. I think they're very private personal issues, and it's hard to come across in an online forum sometimes with the appropriate tone. It's very hard to tell what feeling somebody is trying to convey in forums like these.
It's nothing personal, that's just how I am about these matters.

Ladies I have listened and would now like to say my peace and then topic is closed on my end. First of all the things like dates and differant views of how a person sees relighion are not as important to me, What is important is the miricles that we see each day, For instance take a look out your door, do you see beautiful skys, mountains,an ocean shore, or better yet the miricle of a baby being brought into this world. The animals,the birds of every species, the different cultures and languages and colors. How can anyone not believe in a creator that made these things possible. Why is it so hard for some to believe that our creator (GOD) sent his son in human form and with human feelings to teach us the right and wrongs of our ways? I have seen as many of you have the miricle of just believing in our saviour Jesus Christ, the change that it can and will make in an otherwise lost soul doomed for hell, here and the hereafter. My heart hurts to hear people questioning his existance especially this time of year when we should all be praising him for our every being. I care deeply for each one of you, but wish we could just change the subject and let each one believe there own way. God Bless my Friends!
