They are all so lovely and healthy looking. Your love of roses shows in their beauty.

I agree, Moon. The photo with the comment 'other' is stunning!

That is indeed a beautiful Bougainvillea in that shot, Smiley. I was gonna ask Sohugosh if it was solely a rose garden...of if there were other plantings.

The fragrance must be intoxicating...grin. Lots of weeds in the garden this spring, so lots of work to do. I enjoy taking a few minutes to see all the lovelies you have growing Sohugosh.

How striking. Is that a bloom from a Rosa Rugosa? So cool the way the color splits the flower in half.

Kenmore, NY(Zone 6a)

That's beautiful!

Thanks a lot . I just looked up the name on a dictionary. Thanks for telling me its true name.

I loved all kinds of flowers at first. But after I know a net about roses , I began to love roses so much. I even decide to be a gardener and start to build a rose nursery now. Can you give me some suggestions?

Huizhou, China

I love this rose very much. I was brought to me from my hometown.

Good morning Sohugosh, and you too Moon! That is a lovely rose, it looks like it smells nice too!

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

Good morning Smiley....I agree, it looks like it should have that rich "old rose" fragrance.

Sohugosh your roses are beautiful.

I was just spending a few minutes looking at flower pictures and to my surprise stumbled on three dear friends, Moon, Linnie, and Smiley Mom. Hello to all of you and a very merry Christmas.

I loved your Cajon Gambler day lily Moon.

(Arlene) Southold, NY(Zone 7a)

I'm here, too, Jim. I've been admiring all the roses and just wishing I could smell them.

Kenmore, NY(Zone 6a)

Me too Pirl! Hello Jim, long time no 'see'! Happy Holidays to you and yours, everyone.

Delhi, LA

Hi pirl. Hi Smiley.

I'm just wishing I could raise roses like that. I was going to show my claim to fame with roses but can't find the photo.. Happens when you turn 70.

Merry Christmas.

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

Sohugosh, Best to you and yours for a joyous Christmas and prosperous New Year.

Hello Jim. So good to catch up with you again. Cajun Gambler is a showy daylily for sure. Heartfelt wishes to you, the lovely Jo and all your family for a blessed Christmas and a joyous, healthy happy new year.

Hi Pirl. Hope Christmas is filled with laughter and friends and family. Best wishes to you and yours.

Be warm and safe,

Moon

As the old Irish saying goes...I wish you, Jean, double what you wish for all of us.

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

Thanks Pirl...and may the road rise up to meet your feet and the Good Lord Bless and keep you. Merry Christmas

(Arlene) Southold, NY(Zone 7a)

Thanks, Jean. At my age I'm happy if the road (or the gardens) remain level so I don't trip and fall!

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

Amen. I could not agree more.

Palmdale, CA(Zone 8a)

Themoonhowl,

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)
