Gotcha down for it Andrea ;-)

I oinked you back, lol

Canton,IL &Dent Coun, MO(Zone 5b)

wow that grass was cool

Frederick, MD(Zone 6b)

OK, Neal, that does it... *oinking enthusiastically* for some of your "favorite that you've ever grown" blue Columbine. If you have enough to go around, I wouldn't mind a pinch of white liatris, also. Thank you!

Vashon, WA(Zone 8a)

klstuart what is the blue flower in the bottom of your photo and the reddish one bottom right?

Vashon, WA(Zone 8a)

just found in the greenhouse some agapanthus seeds that I'd cut off and then forgot. the mama plant had blooms about 2 1/2-3 feet tall and blue with whitish centers. Very pretty! Seeds are up for grabs

Simpsonville, SC(Zone 7b)

The blue at the bottom was a Consolida- Larkspur, and the reddish orange was Tithonia (Mexican sunflower) 'Torch'.

Help - my computer won't let me access the page of lists - when I click on it, it says "Page not found". I can access anything else on DG and anywhere else, but not the piggy lists page.

I know I need to take 'pooter into the shop - it's been acting up - but now is not a good time.

Unless anyone else has any other ideas, would it be all right if I dmail swap piggies and ask each one to copy and paste the hyperlink to their individual lists on that page? Someone posted a link to their individual list post and I could access that. At the same time, I would send my list. Can't think of how else to do this. I still hope to not have to depend on oinking on this thread - I'll never keep things straight between me and me.

Thanking y'all in advance for any ideas -

karen

Oh-ho-ho I do love me some suspense.

So all I'm gonna say right now is that I found a surprise in my garden today that I think is going to tickle some of y'all. I'm hoping to have time this weekend to go through more of my seed stash so (fingers crossed) there'll be some new goodies on my list in a few days.

Canton,IL &Dent Coun, MO(Zone 5b)

if you can't get to it I'm game to copy and paste for ya

Canton,IL &Dent Coun, MO(Zone 5b)

was I imagining it or did someone have double lavender moonvine? and if so do you have a picture of it?

Leesburg, FL(Zone 9b)

Karen,

Can you access them if you go to the direct post.... like this
http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/p.php?pid=7231362

I'm ready to start editing and drop you an email with a document.
I'll put it in Wordpad, since i do not know if you have Word or not.

lemme know... i'll be up for at least another 2 hrs.

IF you can access by going to the post, we can just add a link to everyones list.

Quoting:

ask each one to copy and paste the hyperlink to their individual lists on that page?

Well... was sitting here filling orders, and had all the little 'request' sheets all lined up, seed packs scattered all over the table... and i kept coming up short on the Fennel and Ratibida... i kept looking everywhere... and i KNEW i had a lot of seeds.

so - i went thru my 'velveeta' boxes 3 times... no seeds. how the heck could i have lost all those seeds.... so i went in teh other room with all my other seeds.. and low and behold.. .there they were... they had not been labeled yet or divided up yet... so all is well. I still have to create tags for the Fennel... DH was on my PC upstairs.

Hopefully all is well with Karen... I copied and edited the HUGE list and emailed it off to her... hopefully she's reading it about now.

I've sent bluespiral my list.
Karen let me know if you can't use it for any reason. If not then I will happily send you my list by d-mail.

I tried grew lillies from seed one year when I was pretty novice. It was a 'mixed' bag of seeds. I planted the seeds in the garden and kind of forgot about them the next year. I believe I pulled the young ones out, not knowing what they were. But then the next year, one that I hadn't pulled, came up and bloomed. It ended up looking like a white turks cap. I ended up giving it to a good friend. She loves it.

hi..

karen i hope your computer is still working

sure takes awhile that is why you need patience with lily seeds..its best to plant it and forget it and it will come up and bloom and surprise you..just dont pull the slender leaves up..if you see the little bulbils attached then they are lilies.

ive updated my list again and ive included zinnias and peppers as well

toofew, direct sowing is my preference in starting Larkspur, that's how I get best performance from them. When sowing in fall, I prefer to do it in September-October, probably would wait till late winter at this point. In milder zones I think right now would be fine. They can be wintersown, but resent transplanting, and even in peat pots tend to be a bit stunted. As a rule, I hate direct sowing because of all the weeds, but Larkspurs are best sown when its cool (fall or late winter-early spring), and are up and going before most weeds.

critter, your oinks are in your baggie :-) I've also got you down for an Agastache 'Honeybee Blue', is that right? These came from plants I started from seeds you sent me originally, that's why I'm wondering.

Seale, AL(Zone 8b)

Mornign piggies! : )

Hope thos e of you gettign the storms today stay safe and dry.

Ya may not see me til late r this evening. Tryign to get into dentist this morning. Have one half of face that looks like a chipmuck that got three nuts sittign in it. Not a good feeling. Not sur eif it from ear ache or ba d tooth. Just wante d ya to know. Wil catch thread s and dmails later when I get back if I cna get in.

Frederick, MD(Zone 6b)

Thanks, Neal! Yes, that's right on the HBB.. my "butterfly bed" has suffered some losses... my agastache and swamp milkweeds vanished! (BTW, if anybody has any white Asclepias incarnata seeds to share, I'd appreciate it... I sent out tons of them a couple of years ago, didn't save enough to restart here, LOL.)

Leesburg, FL(Zone 9b)

Jill -- when i googled white Asclepias incarnata, it brings me to Swamp/Pink MW which is also called White Indian Hemp.

or did yours have white blooms.

If no one else has Asclepias incarnata... I can dive into the seed packs and get enough for you... cuz i think all of mine are spoken for.

Leesburg, FL(Zone 9b)

Ahhhhhhhh, just found this
Asclepias incarnata 'Ice Ballet' White Swamp Milkweed

http://www.northcreeknurseries.com/index.cfm/fuseaction/plants.plantDetail/plant_id/24/index.htm

Frederick, MD(Zone 6b)

right, I grew mine from seeds of 'Ice Ballet' that somebody sent me... my plants did bloom white. I have some pink Aslepias incarnata seed (probably from you, last year!).

Thanks!

Greenville, IN(Zone 6a)

I don't remember which white butterflyweed that I had that was white didn't attract hardly any butterflies so I just took it out last year 08' wasn't worth the space it was taking up when I could plant others they just loved now all of my milkweeds died and the annuals didn't come back this year either which I didn't really care about the annuals anyway.

tcs, I had Liatris bulbs that someone sent me for one year not the seeds and they didn't bloom for two years! I don't know if it was the spot of part sun or what but I'm pitching more seeds for next year in the side yard and have some to offer but haven't gotten around to labeling them yet, not until I get my computer fixed anyway it's just too much trouble trying to make labels with a key board hooked up to my lap top very frustrating!! I'm pretty sure mine stay green in the winter too. These were sent to me as the Kolbold (sp) but I think they are the taller ones they are tall.

Neal I just barely saw your request :) If you have any more would you dmail me please with these computer problems I'm having I don't want to miss them :) I have no idea when they are going to call me for my new key board :(
