OMG! those orchids are awesome! If I ever get to a show, I'd probably pass out from sensory overload! And I would def. have to buy at least one-----Louise, what a touching story----you were guided to that orchid.
Thank you all for your kind words about my Mom's orchids. It was such a startling experience for me. Harper, I do have 2 orchids here that were gifts, but as much as I love orchids, I just can't care for them with our snowbird life. My friend here keeps them for me in her greenhouse for the summers. I also am not the best orchid grower. For some reason, I just end up neglecting them and forgetting to water/feed them. Now that we have the girls (who will need the back seat of the car going north) I won't be able to take any plants back and forth anymore. I'll have to be tough when it is time to leave some here. The orchids went back and forth for awhile, but no longer.
Beautiful orchid photos, Harper and Karen! Wow!
So beautiful Karen!! I long one day to have a home that I can grow orchids in.
Sounds understandable Louise.
Thanks Louise, Harper and Marilyn. I wish I was better at caring for mine, too. Maybe in time I will be.
