Hee hee - I'm restraining on the licorice one. ^_^
SUN thing to feel good about
I heard licorice reduces testosterone levels.
Well, I agree studies are definitely for the birds. I never heard them say that getting a good amount of sleep and exercize is bad for you, so I'll try to stick to that.
What about bird studies?
Now, bird studies I could dig! Probably will do some bird and mammal studies when I take the botanical illustration classes. I already signed up for my first class, which is a prerequisite for all other classes... Sigh... it doesn't start 'till Feb 20!
Wow - late start. I missed my reserved train show the other day. I'll try another day.
Licorice does reduce testerone which is the reduction you want with prostrate problems.
High Testosterone Levels: Testosterone, the male sex hormone, is the key to prostate gland growth and function; however, in abnormally high concentrations, testosterone can cause prostate abnormalities which may contribute to the development of prostate cancer. As a result, men receiving testosterone therapy have an elevated risk of developing prostate cancer.
The time will fly Harper and before you know it you will be in classes!
That's good, but if it gets too low...
Thanks Joyce! I'm passing the time drawing!
Can you draw a flaccid licorice?? ^_^
looks like your echi's
AAAAAAAH! Not going there!
good idea
How's the cyclamen coming?
very pretty
Harper, i really like that! How soon can you ship it :-)
Very nice, Harp.
Thanks! I gave it to the owner of the dojo my son goes to. Since June he's been letting DS go to Jujutsu classes for FREE.
Nice!
Say 'dojo jujitsu' fast!
'Get back, dojo, your Momma's waitin' for ya', wearing her high-heel shoes...'
Having a good day Victor?
LOL I was wondering the same thing!
Everyday is good! 'Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift. That's why we call it the present.'
Yaaaaay!
Master Oogway, Kung Fu Panda.
I still gotta see that movie
It's fun.
into the almeden early i think
Hee hee - not yet.
Lucky person getting that picture, Harper! And what a nice person to let Sam come free----my art teacher gave us a freebie today.
Very nice!
Lovely Harper. Simple and beautiful.
Thank you
Harper, that's beautiful!! What a great gift! You and Jo Ann are so fortunate to have a talent like that. I'm envious of people with artistic and musical talent.
Awww, thanks Louise. I gotta say, I love the terra cotta pots that you paint. I'm working on my next Christmas gift. Be done soon (hopefully)
Great picture, Harper! You certainly do have an artistic talent. Hey, everyone is talented in one way or another. Doesn't necessarily have to be an artistic talent. My brother is very talented with mechanical/construction/welding/electrical. He can do just about anything in those areas. Many people can't (like myself).
Been very busy these days, and haven't had time to keep up with all the threads I've previously kept up with. Need to fix that.
Karen
Thanks Karen!
Dahlia - that is a gorgeous knife! I love the handle. What is it made of?
Harper - thanks for your nice words about my terra cotta pots. That really doesn't take any talent....just time and patience. I'm actually trying to finish a turtle pot for my neighbor who kept our front yard looking like we weren't missing in action all summer. Since the fur babies arrived, I've had NO TIME to do anything, including DG. So Hank has been babysitting for a bit each day so I can finish it and get it in her hands. I'll post a photo when it is done.
Time to sign off now! G'night!
Nitey nite DonnieB. The handle is made from birch and elm from the NE. There were knifes with silver and stones from the SW for shafts but I specially luved the one with the wood from trees where I grew up.
