Coffee Break #22 - NY Rules!!!!

Land of OZ, CT(Zone 6a)

Doesn't it kill you how smart they are and how well they communicate? When Phoebe was alive, she had me well trained. She would give me a certain look, and I would know exactly what she wanted....

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

yes, and at times it is scary and then they do things like Andre just did. I was drinking some milk and he wanted so so he went and instead of his food dish he picked up his half full water bowl. Water every where. LOL

Good thing Andre and Phoebe can't team up--we'd be on the leash! LOL!

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

I am tied to the other end of the leash!!!! LOL.

(flexi leash tied to a belt-do to poor shoulders and needing both hands free when riding bike. LOL)

It is past time for me to hit the bed.

Good night everyone-stay warm

He's so beautiful!! I love big 'fluffy' dogs!!

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

would you like to brush him? LOL

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Yes! lol

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

I could make a toupee!

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Do you brush him every day or every other? I used to have to do Bandit at least every other.

victor the hair brushed out of the demon child's coat would not only be enough to make you a toupee but one for a small horse. LOL

The brat has a 3 layer coat and that undercoat is thick. Would be very soft.

I am doing good to brush him once a month, thankfully his hair does to knot except on the britches and the long hairs between his back legs, mostly it just clumps. I took him in to be groomed last month and she was not able to get all the loose hair out. That reminds me I need to make a new appointment for the groomer.

Well to be honest, Bandit was kind of unique....no fear. He would lean right into the hose of the vacume cleaner, it felt good I guess and made things much easier on me. ^_^

Update on my Nat Geo dna scan - they have isolated my dna and the next step is to test and ID it. Should be a couple more days!

Eastern Long Island, NY(Zone 7a)

Maybe they'll trace you back to the British isles during the roman occupation!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Maybe!

Or Astoria during the Greek occupation! ^_^

Eastern Long Island, NY(Zone 7a)

LoL! - much tougher crowd!

South Hamilton, MA

Or a stay at home Roman senator or gardener to same?

Thomaston, CT

Shall I tell you about my pointer's DNA? I think some labs are more accurate than others! Wren, Andre is sooo smart! But I hear you about the fur---I had a Norwegian elkhound---the house looked like a desert with tumbleweeds floating on by.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Did they say the pointer was a chimp?!!

Thomaston, CT

No---part mastiff! And German shorthaired pointer, & Jack Russell, & Pomeranian----she looks like a GSP & beagle mix. After my niece sent me the article about 4 different labs coming up with 4 different results for a dog in NY, I laughed---just wish she had sent me the article before I spent $65!

I'll start a new thread.
