What a koinkidink that MA is on the tour ^_^
Question about men?????
lots of chocolate :)
cold premium brew beverages await
DH is a big fan of rocks and brew! He may never leave!
Sam Adams?
DH reports that he has never had Sam Adams. Usual brew is Coors (Rocky Mountain loyalty and all that jazz). Stella is another fav and he got right into Italian beer when we were there. I am a wino (hic).
this would be the beer i brew - usually an ESB, irish red, or a german ale
That wha is a man of many talents.
not so hard dave there is a place near by called incredibrew (incredibrew.com) - they have about 300 different recipe's and will hold your hand through the whole process if needed - i have not had help there in many years :) beer is done in two weeks - i have an irish ale (splitting with my brew buddy) and magnum esb fermenting as i type :)
Do they have a recipe for Rheingold :-)
Do you make that Jeter Ale?
not that i know of although you can make your own labels - one they had was a pedophile porter with a picture of cardinal law and some others that may not be ready for dg - very creative beer drinkers!
Hey, DNut---no CT on your trip? Not nice to skip us, but I know we can't compare to say Maine! Gosh, Jada---do they still make Rheingold? My Dad loved St. Pauli Girl.
Yes, dahlia, CT is very close and has lots of gardens AND nice people. Plus it's on the way to everywhere else.
My garden is nothing special, a few pots .... but we could go to the Arnold arboretum, now THAT"S a garden!
I've been away trying to reflect on my negative attitude lately. On the day I posted a spew and yes it was a spew I had just found out my sister-in-law had passed away from cancer. We were not very close due to some things she did to me along time ago and I have mixed feelings about attending her memorial service. On the other had she was married to my brother for over 20 years and I should go out of respect for him.
See? These are the things i've been wrestling with for about a week. I'm making myself nuts!!
It doesn't help that the operation date is next week, my nerves are shot. Oh, and im a bleach freak before Justin has surgery....his room reeks, good thing he's spending the night at his sister's house. I think I inhaled one to many fumes this week. ^_^
Wow - I wish you strength in dealing with all this, Celeste, though I know you already have much. Thoughts and prayers for the surgery.
That's ok Celeste we all have to spew every once in awhile.
Thoughts and prayers Celeste. I think going to CT is a luvly idea! Also I have not been to that state so I could check it off my list!
Celeste...I AM the queen of Whine, and my crown does not feel the least bit threatened by your "negative attitude". LOL-- As a matter of fact, my esteem for you has, if possible, increased considerably, knowing more about all the adversity you have faced in your life, and still manage to be the caring, compassionate person I know today. I think there's a lot of people here who are standing right beside you in spirit to help you through this difficult time. Lean on us....
How is it possible NOT to spew once in awhile? Somebody tell me . . .
Flowerjen - OTH, that picture does look like they were having some fun!
Oh my goodness Jen!! I'd of had all 3 of them in there picking it up. Kids and hubby too!!
Jen that looks like the aftermass of what these puppies do if I leave them unattended. I wish I could teach THEM to pick up. I sympathise.
Wow - looks like a tornado went through, Jen. I've seen that here, but make the kids pick it up.
wish my dogs could pick up too!
OMG! That living room brings back memories! I was a single parent working 12 hour shifts twice a week so I could have 5 days off with the kids, (Baylor plan), would get home totally exhausted, to find similar messes, or worse.. Turns out the hidden message(eventually extracted by a psychologist) was that they want me to stay home 24/7 and "bake cookies". They are in their mid 30's now, parents themselves, and are just getting the realities.....LOL!
My daughter is currently picking up right now, my son is in school. They were both sleeping when I got home and hubby on his butt watching tv, as soon I got home he went to bed. Did not want to get into last night, but wait till hubby gets home from work.
phoebe - i think that psychologist was full of you know what - if my brother and i left a room like that it would have been the yard stick from my mother or worse the belt from the old man - and it would not have happened again
jen make'em clean it up with the help of hubby - and to bed early the next few days
I'm afraid my Gkids playroom looks like that every day! I make them clean up, but they are very resistant! But, then so am I. Pixie, prayers are being said for you & Justin.
Right - whose side was the shrink on?
Mine--thank God! Cause Dad (whiny-butt ex), was very destructive and blamed me for all the injustices in the world. The kids bought into it for years....
Carrie - that is wonderful news, and I'm so glad you have shared it with us! Keep up the good work; it sure has paid off so far! Impressive!
Dahlia - at the risk of sounding presumptuous, I'm planning on planting an extra helping of dahlias in the summer of 2011, so I'd be most disappointed if we couldn't lure you to see them in our little SW corner of NH!!!!
Celeste - I'm sorry that you've been going through all of this! I'm sending you many good vibes for the service, the surgery and some good solid serenity! Hugs to Justin!!
I'm planning on it DonnieB. I want to meet Thadeous and the puppys too ^_^
Sorry to hear that, Sherrie. Condolences. I know that feeling too well.
He is, but hope you are, too, Sherrie!
Awww...I'm sorry....I'm sure he appreciates that you knew when to let go, and you will always keep his spirit in your heart.
Sorry to hear that Sherrie.
So sorry to hear about your kitty. It's always hard.
