I did make out, tommorrow, I'll go back & see what all is on sale, I was in a hurry, had to my DH's battery for his jeep to be charged up, so I had to drop it off, then went to DD's to plant that buttercup for her then went to Lowes
I can back home then went to work outside, next week I have some people coming to pick up clothes & some household things that I don't want, it's time to declutter, I have Thanksgiving dinner at my house, so it has too look good
Elizabeth

Ladoga, IN(Zone 6a)

I have to do that ever once in a while just go thru everything and clear out. Makes me feel so much better..lol. I hope I can get to Lowes this wek end. I love end of season sales.
Dee

Hamilton, OH

Dee
right before it turns really cold, you can get a cart load of catcus, for little to nothing, so keep an on that, right now it's half off, but in 3 weeks it will be really inexpensive
Elizabeth

Ladoga, IN(Zone 6a)

I'm really looking for shrubs, but my husband loves cactus. I think Charleen disappeared on us again...She sure is a wondering soul...lol
Dee

Hamilton, OH

Dee
she did didn't she, should we post that apb. to find her, I have some big seed pods from my moonflower, I haope they do well, I have them drying out. that moonflower we all the way to the next county, it took 4 big garbage bags to get it cleaned up
Elizabeth

Barnesville (Charle, GA(Zone 8b)

I was lost in cyberspace, Computor was acting stupid. So here I am again, I do wonder, my
DH has a time keeping up with me too.
Charleen

Ladoga, IN(Zone 6a)

Next summer, if you girls are looking for any kind of succulents, you will have to let me know.My favorite nursery has tables of them. That"s the place I told you girls about that has small rooted starts for 1.25-1.50. She does have some cool looking plants. It would be a ggod place to buy them for a mini succulent garden.I have been thinking about doing that.

Dee

Ladoga, IN(Zone 6a)

Don't ya just love to watch a moonflower open...There you are Charleen.
Dee

Hamilton, OH

Charlene
good to see you, I can cancel that apb. I have the same habit myself, try to get everything done at the same time
DH made some great beef stew, I told him he was hired
Elizabeth

Barnesville (Charle, GA(Zone 8b)

Oh, well I'm back. did go on a quickie trip to Australia to look at a beautiful "stickie" bloom. It was so pretty.
Quit different from our Brug. I was sitting here last night and I couldn't figure out where a smell was coming from, almost like
baby powder but not quit, it was the brug blooms. It was so neat. My Noid was smelling up the house.
Charleen

Hamilton, OH

Charlene
I am going to miss that smell, my Maya, has a bud on it in the kitchen, it should be open tommorrow, it is different than P&C, but it's still varigated, that one is new this year, it might be 2ft tall, I will post a pic when it Blooms
Elizabeth

Barnesville (Charle, GA(Zone 8b)

The baby out front is blooming her little self for all
she;s worth. She must love the cool air, after that hot summer we had.
They are great. The yellow one never did anything.
Charleen

Hamilton, OH

Charlene
I had a Brug that didn't do anything for 2 seasons, so I donated it, that one is so picky, Herrinhauser Garten, it would set buds, & they kept falling off, it's a beautiful double orange if you can get it to Bloom, it should do well at the university GH, I am glad you have Blooms
Elizabeth

Barnesville (Charle, GA(Zone 8b)

They don't smell the same as my main noid. But it is not bad.
I am almost tempted to cut one off and bring it in just to see what it really smells like.
Do you think I am addicted?
Charleen

Hamilton, OH

Charlene
you're addicted, the Bloom will last a little while but it doesn't have the scent as it does on the plant, if you take a clipping with the Bloom on it, it last fo one day, then it starts to droop
Elizabeth

Barnesville (Charle, GA(Zone 8b)

Isn't it sad looking. Wish there was some way to keep
it Perky. They are so pretty.
elizabeth , tell me about the Shredded one. Does it droop horribly too?
It is no interesting looking.
Charleen

Ladoga, IN(Zone 6a)

Elizabeth, do you think it would be ok to dust the bottom part of the log, with rooting powder?
Dee

Hamilton, OH

Charlene
my shredded mess, is still small but I think it's known to have a shredded Bloom, I will be able to tell more about it in the spring, also it was shaded, I will put it in full sun next season
Elizabeth

Barnesville (Charle, GA(Zone 8b)

I hope it grows an is very happy and blooms for us.
i can't wait, can you??
Charleen

Hamilton, OH

Dee
I don't think it would hurt it, may even get it too root faster, try it, I usually don't use the rooting powder I just use the peatmoss, I have 2 different kinds of rooting powder, one for the Brugs & the other for shrubs
Elizabeth

Hamilton, OH

Charlene
I want spring back right now also, today was so warm, but you know it won't last, we need to live in zone 11, so we could have huge Brug tree's, all year long
Elizabeth

Ladoga, IN(Zone 6a)

I hope I can get the log to grow, I will post pics of the process.
Dee

Ladoga, IN(Zone 6a)

Girls, I think I am gonna get off of here and hit the sack. I'm just not with it tonight. I was up and down all night and on the go all day, and I am just pooped. I'll talk to ya tomorrow.Night
Dee

Barnesville (Charle, GA(Zone 8b)

Me too, Elizabeth. I want spring now. I so wanted to plant my Brugs, but am so afraid.
Dee, when you going to start it.? Tomarrow is a good time. Sign is good for transplanting,
so why not starting brugs. I am going to fix my bottles and plant tomarrow.
Charleen

Hamilton, OH

Dee
that would be great, I would to see it, I should have about 20 or more growing, but last year I had more FP than anything else, but this year I have a big selection to root, I usuall have a plant sale on Mothers days, next year I'll be ready
Elizabeth

Barnesville (Charle, GA(Zone 8b)
