ok I had to take daughter to cheerleading practice, swing by walgreens (I was out of pain pills), and go to the grocery store....should have been an easy task....but no I had to walk by the florist area and 4 new plants just happened to jump in my cart

Hi Rachel! Kassy, I got pulled for Jury Duty (groan), got pulled for a case (double groan), found out it's a really important civic duty (ok, groan turned to oh yeah?) then they dismissed the case the 1st day of the trial (groan again).

So it IS really cool if you get pulled. It really only hits you then how important the process is to be judged "by a jury of your peers".

Nice whatever those are, too. Stonecrop? Or Sedum? Mine are boring pale pink. I wanted what you have, but they were my dear departed Aunt's, so I took some (when offered of course) from my other Aunt.

DH just said it was a good sports night ! (double groan)

Kassy, I found the name of your weed in the Audubon Wildflowers book. It is called Butter-and-eggs (Linaria vulgaris) Snapdragon Family (Scrophulariaceae).

Does this sound like your plant? Yellow, 2-lipped, spurred, flowers bloom in a terminal cluster on a leafy stem. Flowers: about 1" long; sepals 5; petals 5, united, the upper lip 2-lobed, the lower lip 3-lobed with orange ridges, and a prominent spur at base; stamens 4; pistil1, with green style.

Leaves: 1-2 1/2" long, gray-green; the upper alternate, linear, grass-like, the lower one opposite or whorled.

Height: 1'-3'

Smiley, how tall did you say those snapdragons were?

Venice the orchids are whole plants, well bulbs in this case but they are already growing

I got my new plants fixed up. Planted the 2 aloe, fixed up the Schefflera pot they were in, straightened the big pineapple and cleaned out the spider nests, pruned the poinsettia, planted the xmas cactus. I dumped together all my left over soils from a few weeks ago and today, and all the topsoil, peat, and potting soil I had left. It fills a 31 gallon tote about 2/3 the way. I hope I can use it for early spring planting inside.

Moon, do you think I should leave it outside until a couple of weeks before I need it, or bring it inside now?

Thinking about changing occupation I really get sick of it. The only thing that helps is I'm only working part time now.

I want to wash down that table and sand it. A piece fell off of it so I will need to do a bit of repair. It is going to be shabby chic!
