ROFL

Marinette, WI(Zone 4b)

No JJ, just one of the many pictures I took while driving looking for nice fall colors.
The sad thing is, we got hit with rain and the colors aren't anywhere near what they usually are. Lots of leaves were knocked off the trees..........

Hold on, I'll find you a picture of where I live ^_^

Woodhull, IL(Zone 5a)

Hi Kassy,

The devil made me do it!!

This is the only plant I own in the house and its in the way.

Those darn lady bug looking bugs are back can't even get in the door. Porch is covered with them.

Marinette, WI(Zone 4b)

wow JJ, and our lady bug looking beetles are gone. All we have found are dead ones.

OK, here goes JJ............

JJ has a ficus too!

oh I also got a book called 'Crystal Palaces Garden Conservatories of The United States'

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

That's your old car, so that must be last winter, eh Kassy?

Canton,IL &Dent Coun, MO(Zone 5b)

oh and some ground Orchids I can't remember the names of of

Woodhull, IL(Zone 5a)

Sad part trina they all belong to that lady/friend I help and she can't see them anymore. Her husband has electric heaters out in that room all winter to keep them warm and waters them when he remembers.

There use to be more but they have joined the compost pile and there are a couple more that may join them soon.
I am no help when it comes to inside plants. don't know why mine is still alive.

Nice snow kassy! Place could use a few flowers. :)

We haven't had those beetles because its been so cold. But today they are picking soybeans in the field out back and it is 65 outside and they just magically appeared. None when I left home at 1 and a porch full when I got back at 3.

Canton,IL &Dent Coun, MO(Zone 5b)

Yes, it has been colder here too, but usually we find one or 2 or 3 in my BF's house. But he has been finding none lately.

Lots of boxelder beetles though. As a matter of fact, I got some pictures of some to send do you, in case you needed bugs yet?

JJ, this is the BF's one room school house............and no, that little flower bed in the front isn't all he has! This picture was taken before I met him, so more flower beds popped up ^_^

Marinette, WI(Zone 4b)

oh man, i have to download from my camera............brb

Kenmore, NY(Zone 6a)

I love the pot in the 'one more to make you drool' picture. I know that was meant for Trina, but the pot makes me drool!

Canton,IL &Dent Coun, MO(Zone 5b)

yeah some how I don't think I was the only one drooling over those! I got some amaryllis seeds and canna seeds and what's a woodrose? and nobody would believe me if I told them what I traded for todays booty!

Kenmore, NY(Zone 6a)

I've seen your plant list Trina. We don't have enough time to guess!

Canton,IL &Dent Coun, MO(Zone 5b)

basil seeds, I had some different basil seeds and pepper seeds

Kenmore, NY(Zone 6a)

a gift!

Woodhull, IL(Zone 5a)

Nice old schoolhouse kassy.

Thats what they call the spa room smiley, think it use to be the garage.
That brown tarp you can see alittle of in one of the pics covers one of those swim spa pools.

It has a leak or something so it has never been working since I started going there. She keeps saying shes going to get it fixed so I can use it, but I don't know when I would find the time or energy.

Kassy I think GS is finishing up this week with the bugs, so he has enough. But thank you for the pictures cuz he had a big variety. I made him go out and find some on his own also. The teacher was thrillled to have new pictures of different things. Wouldn't surprise me if they will be shown again next year to a new class.

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

Hey JJs, if they do fungus/mushrooms at GS school, let me know. I probably have 20 or 30 different pictures of them.

Canton,IL &Dent Coun, MO(Zone 5b)

Now I feel bad almost about the trade, and a mystery tree thing with a VERY healthy root system, and well here's what I got

5 bamboo orchids
7 philipine ground orchids
1 nice croton cutting that would actually make 2 (but I'll probably kill it)
calla lily could be split up into 18 individuals
a piece of dumbcane at 3" in diameter and well over a foot long
an unknown plant (said suprise on the tag) very healthy root system
5 amaryllis seeds
8 woodrose ? seeds
75 Indian shot canna mixed seeds

I sent him
Sweet Basil
Lemon Basil
Purple Ruffles Basil
Purple Ruben Basil
Cinnamon Basil
Tobasco Seeds
Unknown pepper seeds (long thin and hot)
Chocolate mint
Lemon Verbena
Marigold
Mixed hollyhock seeds

about 25 to 50 of each

Marinette, WI(Zone 4b)

boy, i sure hope he likes mint and basil

Woodhull, IL(Zone 5a)

Hard telling where that pot came from smiley.
They have traveled all over. South America, North America, Mexico, Europe you name it. She is from Germany but right on the Austria border and she was in the CIA over there before she got married.

I say that's why she likes me so much. I wouldn't know if something was worth 10 cents or 10 thousand dollars. I call her crystal, glass, her pewter, tin and wanted to know why she had all these dumb rugs hanging everywhere and she informed me they were Persian rugs and raw silk Sooo??

I even called her cashmere scarf flannel.

I admit it I have no clue, wouldn't give a nickle for any of it

Canton,IL &Dent Coun, MO(Zone 5b)

he wanted those

Woodhull, IL(Zone 5a)

OK Moon . Thanks
I haven't heard of them doing that. At least not yet, but will keep it in mind if they do.

Marinette, WI(Zone 4b)

Look what I found on my way up north!
How would you like to run into this?

Cool Kassy

Woodhull, IL(Zone 5a)

Only weird thing around here is me.

Marinette, WI(Zone 4b)

A place that grows pumpkins sets them up every year.
This was the first year I saw the spider.
I was too far away at the time to get a picture of the turkey, but I hope to try again and see what else they may have set up in their yards.......
This was keeping the spider company, or the spider was coming out to eat him.
