Here is the Hilo coast this afternoon.
FROST ON THE GYPSIES, Hello Fall
good morning! anyone up? i feel like Trina, I have a puppy on my lap and am typing with the wrong hand. only my puppy is bigger than both of her babies together!
Morning smiley,
Up but not happy about it, coffee will make it better
Coffee makes a lot of things better! I enjoy getting up early and savoring the quiet. I like silence.
You were busy yesterday! Really nice costumes! My daughter never wanted homemade costumes, I don't know why. I didn't mind buying them too much, she would use the dresses for dress-up, so I definitely got my money's worth.
If I had quiet I could savor early wouldn't be bad. But I got woke up to the tune of "Gramma watch cartoons" and then a dog licking my face.
It's alright he's worth it. Now if I can keep him quiet enough not to wake DH.
When mine were little the costumes were mostly those plastic ones, so they didn't look good or last if they wanted to play in them, thats why I started making them. That and usually what they wanted to be I couldn't find a costume for or it cost to much.
I remember my kids waking me up to watch cartoons too. Now I'm up eons before anyone else. I'm gonna be one of those old ladies that roam the house, I can tell.
What's in store for today? it's supposed to be sunny & high around 50*, DH asked me yesterday if I wanted to go to Home Depot sometime soon (it's only down the street) so I think I'll wander over there... Mine never has great plant deals like you guys find, but you never know! And I need burlap to cover my hydrangea, some DG-er's thought that's why it doesn't bloom.
Not sure yet. Getting ready to look at Sunday ads and Farm and Fleet's toyland just opened so may go do some shopping for Christmas if this ones dad shows up early enough.
I try not to look at plants now cuz its to late to put them in the ground (IMO) and I have no where but the garage or basement to keep them. Although they usually do alright there.
All I know about hydrangea is my sister had some on a trellis and could not control it. It crawled up her siding and everywhere. She cut it down and had terrible time killing it.
I have a lacecap bush-type. I was hoping it was one of the puffball types, but it's not. They are pretty flowers, though, from what I've seen. One of MIL's (in)famous QVC purchases.
good lord, I will never catch up!
Good morning everybody! Boy I've been lucky to hit every other thread to say good morning!
Trina I got a nice little package from you yesterday! Thank you so much! The russian sage sprig looked perfectly perfect, and the little plants are fine. Boy that was a nice thing to get after a long long week! It's raining today, I'm hoping to get them in the ground soon. The package arrived right before the 14 screaming kids *grin* The party went well, they were pretty good. Any time you add a Halloween costume to the mix it pumps up the excitement for them. I tucked the plants in a safe place lol
I did manage to get a gander of those heels, Trina, feel free to send those next ;) My camera broke or I'd show you my favorite boots *grin* the ones I threatened to plant in somebody's butt at the hospital.
JJ now there's ebay for costumes....glad you cut back on the sweets, I've been to the gym ONCE in over a week...hoping to get there today. I know what ya mean on the people, the men are easier aren't they?
Smiley you don't have rain? We have rain. Gotta clean up the house from yesterday, so at least that will keep me in.
Flowers, Venice Dixie, Moon good morning! Dave, I like those pictures they put me in a good place, 'cept for those boots *grin*
Good Morning all. Hope everyone has a lovely day. Probably need to move this to a new spot.....guess I will start a new thread before everyone gets going on this one....here is the link.
