i think for our first go around over there that's how it was, but I think what our soldiers are doing over there now is a whole lot different now in Iraq and Afghanistan. more bloodshed for starters, my cousin same age as Matt just got back from Iraq last June now he's getting ready to ship out to Afghanistan and he's a total wreck

I would go totally crazy if I had to go over to Afgan.! I really feel for those guys. Sneaking around, always watching, always on alert, crapy weather, crapy land, dirty, always tired etc. War is scarry.

There is one good thing about going over there now. Your son won't be one of the first ones that went there. There are now some experienced guys he will be around. And more guys are going at the same time he is. HIS ODDS ARE MUCH GREATER THAN THE FIRST GROUP THAT WENT THERE!!

What is the difference between the National Guard and the Army?

Army is everyday, national guard is 1 weekend a month and 2 weeks in the summer unless they call you to active duty, usually however the national guard takes care of issues here at home like the Flood of 93, and they should have been called out for Hurricane Katrina, but now they are sending them overseas to the war zone because we don't have enough regular Army or other Full time military personnel anymore

yes and he's a tank mechanic.....if your watching it on tv then they cut that scene out, but yeah there's a scene in the actual movie right before he goes to war where he's got his GF up against the wall yeah he's naked as a jaybird

I am trying to figure the politest way to say this....
I had my nose broken 8 times before I was 2, so to say I had a bad childhood would be an extreme understatement. As a result of some extremely violent and repeated injuries I have a spinal chord and brain injury that has progressively gotten worse as I have gotten older and will someday kill me...I did not want to file for disability but my doctors gave me an ultimatum (plotters and evil doers!) that I either filed for it (i've done it twice before at thier request but never appealed in 95 and 02)and this time fought for it or they (rooten mutineers!) were going to have the state yank my drivers license for medical reasons.....so they won, I'm now bored as all get out and I say ppppllllbbbbttttt on my doctors they also said I'd be in a wheel chair by the time I was 20 and I'm now 35 so I stick my tongue out at them!!!!!!

well I got so use to my body doing or not doing what I wanted that I learned to compensate for it but now it likes to randomly shut down my organs when I get too stressed, its favorite is to make a ling collapse....the gremlin in my wiring likes to have his fun

no the flowers and seeds are my stress relievers, the kids have thier moments when they do become stressors a bit, with the exception of blake they are all pretty good kids, and even Blake's not bad every day. I just learned most things aren't worth stressing about. you just do the best you can with what you got. Cause at the end of the day if your still sucking air then it was a good day
