yes isn't it amazing how kids now days are so picky, I was raised to eat what was on my plate and like it.

You know, I put an up-side-down plastic flower pot over that little rose bush. I figured that might keep her from freezing.

of course the dog got fat back then and mom couldn't figure out why lol

Flowers, you are so right!!! It was just a rotiserie chicken from the grocery and a baked potato made in the microwave. I was going to fix something else but just didn't have the incentive or energy tonight. Will do it tomorrow.

So you like watching Animal Planet. I watch that at times. Not much else on many times. I watch HGTV sometimes but they have the same type of thing over and over. I don't exactly watch it, I have it on while doing other things.

Just had chili.
Guess the little one spending the night... again. His dad called. He was close to here at a friends helping him work on his cabin. He knows I won't let him take GS if he has even had one beer and is alone and driving.

Flowers, I done a couple from patterns I made (like the turtles) but usually bought a pattern or revamped one I already had.

So I guess its off to bath time now.
I think I am to easy, don't know how to say NO when it comes to grandkids.

Glad you asked Venice. Yes love to watch the differenrt animals. Today was all kinds. Bats, hyeinas,wildabeast,dolphens,bears and lots more.

JJ, I think you would be a great grandmom to have!!! I am sure they enjoy everything you do for them and they have a lot of special memories.

well biological grandkids get that concept too Trina but the others were raised on fast food and won't eat much else.

It was very entertaining Venice. They will probably do a re run. It was stories un cut and had some graphics that were amazing.

I think the funniest thing so far about being a grandma was when the 9 yr old GS wanted to stay the night and I said he could but when he asked his dad he told him No. GS asked him why not and got the age old response "I said so". He proceeded to say that Grandma said yes and sons reply was he was his dad and he had to listen to him. GS piped back with "If I have to do what you say , you have to do what Grandma says cuz she's your mom."

He had a point! and he spent the night.

Will probably have mine next weekend, they have been passing the swine flue back and forth and mammy doesn't need to get that at all.

Thats funny JJ. My daughters youngest who is 5 was talking to her from the tub one night and she talks to them just like you and I talk to each other. Well she ended the conversarion she thought and he popped up and started crawling out of the tub and said " We will continue this conversation in the living room mom" I get so tickled at them Too Smart!!!

You got that right JJ, with eight in family two pans of bisquits at each meal didn't last long, better grab em and run lol

exactly his kids now got that but it took all summer, it and no breakfast foods (cereal, pop tarts and oatmeal) after 10 am that became his rule once I pointed out how much cereal we were going through

grands try to fill up on drink before a meal and then hungry again in an hour. Don't get by with that at grandmas
