GYPSIES AND PLANT ADDICTS MEET HERE
I haven't figured that part out yet Dave, I'm still working on it! hey I could be like that guy who built his own island out of left over plastic bottles!
oooh how do I get to one of those pages? that is a much better way to search for something
ok cultivar name would that be the 'Flair' "Danielle" part of the name?
more I want more give me more
Trina, that plant I gave you that is similar to a MIL tongue -- Dave said it was a sansevieria Raffilii var. Glauca. But I see the difference. That one has brown edges and blotchy green instead of stripes. However, I can't find anything about a moonglow plant.
thank you Moon ok so they are kinda like Violets just hardier maybe I'll actually get to keep one alive
MIL, Snake Plant they are all sansevieria, 'moonglow' is apparently from what Norma said a new introduction this year like my Fire Ranch Aloe is
Trina, ask her for a photo or where one is.
Dixie, such a sweet little girl!!!
it means it's new Venice, Plant files wont have information on them until we put it in there
she's lost it, folks!
Son is here, early dinner, he has to go to work. It's amazing what we do for them when they no longer live here but come to "visit". see you later!
PS) Dixie, Angela didn't want to win, but I think she would have been secretly pleased if she did.
Trina, I just couldn't find it anywhere on the Internet! (the moonglow)
Question: What is the difference between a Purple Heart and a Wandering Jew?
The tags on min say purple heart wandering jew so I think thats the name
lol OK!!!
Trina, show us a photo of your seed file, please?
Venice, go to this link and look at paragraph number 13 in Species and cultivars.
Sansevieria trifasciata moonshine or moonglow

when matt gets back with the camera (since it is his) I sure will
ok I thought the dog was bad following me around, but the cat just walked all over the house and upstairs with me attatched to my pant leg!
I guess it technically is a Sansevieria 'Moonshine' (Sansevieria trifasciata) but it commonly is called Moonglow. And yes, that is it!!
don't you just love it when you find an exact match to what you have?
Time to break camp kiddies....

Hey Trina, I just saw the blossom of the Moonshine! Wow! Who knew!
I am thinking that I put mine in too big of a pot.
Also, I was wondering the best way to position them. Then I saw this photo. They face outside first then in the middle they face inside. I want to repot them!

I'm back at least for the moment. Hey Venice. Trina, did you say that you got the seeds I sent you? LOL Funny about the pruning shears and lopers. Well I'm off again.
Trina, when I was putting my wife's potted plants in for the winter today, I noticed that one of her Mothers-in-Law tongues is fixing to bloom. One bloomed about 10 years ago, the first I ever saw. They have to be root bound to bloom. I'll try to get a picture of it if I can and post it. Jim
thanks jim...sorry we moved again
