GYPSIES AND PLANT ADDICTS MEET HERE

We're supposed to get some of that later on. Nothing big, though, maybe an inch. Of course, they haven't been able to predict accurately all year.

It is very weird to be able to hear snow hitting the roofs and trees. It was a tad bit colder when we had the big one 3 years ago, but the weirdest (and definitely saddest) part was hearing all the tree limbs cracking, breaking and falling to the ground. In between the electrical lines going BZZ-Z-Z-Z-Z-ZZZ-TT-TT-T-T

Trees cracking is a sound we are familiar with here too...and i agree, it is very scary, especially when it is dark and you can't tell where it is coming from.

Trina is safe, they're philodendron's! Everyone has those and no one wants more. I just thought I'd ask. This planter sits about 8' off the floor, on a ledge in one of the offices. It is almost touching the floor. So every now & then I give it a haircut.

Better to have industrious chicks and ducks than lazy ones....grin

I will catch up with ya in a bit, Dixie....gotta go cover the orchids, they are not happy with the constant wet and way too many of them to let crown rot set in....lets see, got umbrella, mac and boots, boat docked at the back door....yup ready....grin

I can never have too many philos, especially since I just traded off nearly everyone I had...I am awake but not happy about it

I can't take a pic of the cake, bread thing cause the kid had to take BOTH to school (I was not coherent enough at 3:30 am to take pictures)....but I will make more, just not at 8 at night OMG I'm tired....when I do make more I will unfortunately be modifying it to make myself one (I can't eat the pecans!) but if you ladies want one just dmail me, sending them out is not a problem, I send boxes of goodies all over the place between thanksgiving and christmas and it all arrives in great shape

according to the people on the aroids forum it is supposed to flower, but no one there has ever seen it do so...even Lari Ann told me when the green house is finished, that if I let it grow how it naturally wants too, to take lots of pics especially if it flowers cause no one's really seen it before
