please I was abused way worse as a child than this kid ever thought about being and I never went to school telling people if they didn't perform certain sexual acts I was gonna sneak into thier houses and rape them, and then proceed to tell the kid being threatened what was in his house!

I didn't go around stealing just because I could, or trying to mlest my brothers' GF when they come over....I mea there is somethingtruly wrong with this kid, no matter how much good attention he gets. We even tried bribing him in to good behavior...My BF likes to build all the kids thier first car, and he tries to make it what they want...with Matt his issue was graduating HS...he wanted a 91 camaro, so we found one and BF made everthing perfect with this car, and let it sit in the driveway...needless to say Matt finished 6 months early just so he could get that car.

Blake picked his vehicle, Bob (my BF) got it and they fixed it all up just the way Blake wanted it, It's sitting in the driveway with a for sale sign now, Blake asked why, Bob said why would I give you a 3 thosand pound weapon when I can't even trust you to be alone in my house

When Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd came to Buffalo (not together), both times I said "I'll catch them next time". Didn't have the 5 bucks, and there was no next time. Zeppelin was scheduled, but canceled when Robert Plant's kid passed away.

The real kicker is I was 18 and it was my money....but according to my parents I had a choice...tuition or damnation....ah well, such is life. Grin

Have yall ever seen any one ski on wet concrete? I just skied from one end of the garage to the other. Would have fell if I hadn't grabbed one of the metal poles. Went pole dancin for a few seconds. Matt - 19 mstly good kid, sometimes selfish, and a little lazy, tends to get in money troubles, talks to me about everything

Austin - 14 Good kid very helpful abondonment issues, he gets left in charge when we leave wants to be a lawyer and move to the desert of Baja California...can't spell for nothing! Talks to me about everything

Kenny - 13 (my only biological kid) A completely space cadet and goofball, surfer boy, very into Harleys, frogs, and himself But very loving and quick with hugs...very polite, you know ladies first the whole nine yards...It would be Mrs. Golba or Ms. Julie until you tell him to call you something else, but he is a bit lazy talks to me about everything

Amanda - 12 serious abondonment issues, but also extremely selfish most of the time, but very quick with hugs, having a small identity crisis....wants to be a boy to get dads attentetion but doesn't want to do the work the bys do like yardwork...talks to me about everything

I sure have missed out on a lot! My computer was doing a scan. It must have taken 3 hours! I will have to take a look at the scan report and when these scans are scheduled. I don't think I need one that often.

Moon, I wish we had a photo of you slushing around in your boots and rainware! You almost need ski poles to help you navigate through all of that swamp! So Lynnie has snow and Flowers has snow on the way. The rest of you are still getting wet.

It is still gray here and a light sprinkle now and then. I think on Tuesday it may be dry and up to 60 degrees. Hope to get all those stupid pots cleaned then. I wish I could just spray them down and not have to scrub each pot with bleach.

Could I spray the ones that aren't too dirty with the hose and then soak them for 3 minutes in a bleach bath?

I have things to do also, especially the pile of papers on my desk!

Venice, run them through the dishwasher. Cleans them up really well. I dip them in bleach water in the sink and load them into dishwasher. Job done.

Moon, thanks! I thought about putting them in the dishwasher. If I put the in and also put them on the lower rack I would probably have at least 8-10 loads. Ok, big deal.

CAN I put that type of pot on the lower rack, you know that kind that you buy plants in from the store?

First, I need to sort them and put each size together.

The plastic ones? I probably would stop them at the dry cycle.

In a brainless listen-my-older-brother moment, DH disconnected the heating unit in my dishwasher. "draws too much energy". Man, I was mad! I said "yeah, I'll bet HIS isn't disconnected!" I can't wait for it to die so I can have one that actually dries the dishes.

Most dishwashers give you the option of heat or cool dry...just set on cool dry or stop after the final rinse and set the clean pots on the porch to dry.

We never use the heat dry, just let them air dry overnight. It actually does save a couple bux each month.

Draws too much energy? let me tell ya it does not draw nearly as much energy as the kids to when they leave radios, tv's, curling irons, or even charging thier cell phones does...I'd give him an ultimatum on that he wouldn't like, and either he'd be getting some dishpan hands or the dishwasher would be fixed or replaced, want to borrow my "ultimatum" enforcer Julie?

I have always set my dishwasher to Dry Cool. But that heating element on the bottom heats up during the washing. I think that extra heat helps to get the water hot enough to santitize the dishes.

Well, I will just give it a try and see what happens. The worse thing would be that the pots get a bit ruffled around the edges or the whole pot gets a funny shape.

Smiley, I meant to tell you that I have plenty lily seeds. That pod must have had at least 30 seeds in it!!

Julie, time to re-connect or get a new one....that element runs during the wash cycle to keep the water hot and sanitize dishes....or my Frigidaire does any way. That means that dishes are only getting hot tap water wash and depending how far from h/w heater the kitchen is, your dishes may only be washed in lukewarm water.

I know they say that anything that heats has the highest draw on electricty, except for the AC or computer. I turn off my power strips at night. Right now I have all the lights on around me. It is so gray outside that I need some light!

I am all things bleach. Weighs 10.125 lbs per gallon when mixed to 12.5%, Chlorox is 5.25%, 3 times as much will not give you liquid chlorinator, and chlorine is a gas, not a liquid.

Thanks Trina, I'll keep it in mind if I need 'The Ultimatumer'. Sometimes Bill can't think on the right side of his brain, even if he's an artist. Let's turn down the thermostat setting on the hot water tank - hmmm, saves energy. I say hmmm, cold showers!

Looks like it Venice. I am a bit weird about the dishes. When we moved here the kitchen was so far from h/w heater it took almost a full minute for the water to heat up in kitchen, so we went to HD and got a 4 gallon flash heater for under the kitchen sink. The water comes out of the tap at 130 degrees. I have a warning sign on the sink for guests telling them to turn on the cold water first.

Julie, if he really wants to save money, invest in a flash heater. Only runs when the hot water tap is on and uses zero energy when the water is not running as opposed to h/w heater that runs everytime the water temp falls below pre set temp.

I'll have to check my dishwasher, Moon. It seems the wash temp is hot, but I'd rather have sanitized dishes.

Now how would I approach that?? "honey, we were talking on the thread and think you don't know your butt from a dishwasher element..." LOL

We got a new hot water tank recently. Yesterday he said "does it seem that it's scalding hot compared to the (23 year) old one? Maybe I should turn the temp down".

I said "what temp is it at?"

He said "140*, where it should be".

I said "maybe the old one wasn't working well, and that's why it seems hotter than the old one, I would leave it where it's supposed to be".

Now, he's not a stupid person, far from it. But how does the saying go - "the smarter they are, the dumber they are"? No common sense sometimes. Gotta love 'em.
