LOL getting ansie just sitting around here waiting for 3pm to head to Frankenmuth...long day so this is keeping me entertained..hope I don't bore you all to death...

I'm in, Betty and count my Fairy DIL in, too. Wasn't it sneeky of me to send her the link so she could see your "fun" stuff. And I know she got a saw last year for Christmas. Anyway, I hope I know what I am geting this year!

Janice, I'm so glad you both are joining in..not sure why, I did not edit anything today and it says I can't do it today so when I'm back Monday hopefully it will let me put names, who wants what ...but I'm keeping track manually...I'm excited now...

Just remembered something, Stacey, wasn't that trio candle set I was talking about in your box of goodies I sent you home with last year????

It seems that shovel one would be cute with cotton balls instead of styro balls and maybe a little bit of white glitter on it too....

We are too!!!! This will be my first year and I've heard such good things about the past. The pictures from last year are just amazing....

I had 2 sets of candles, but neither were snowmen......Can you send me a larger pic of them so I can figure it all out......when I click on the one here it's too small....

Stacey, yes Suzanne and Rita are going with me, as well my SIL Linda (who is also my cousin..lol) they've been calling all morning excited as can be..can't you just see us...you knowing what we were like last year!

I have to 2 sets of candles-the one purple and the one green, but no blank ones if that's what you mean. I can take a pic of the purple ones-the green are in with my Xmas stuff....but can you send me a better pic of the snowmen ones so I can check them out...

Betty, I have a jig saw. Wish I had a scroll saw! Maybe I can put that on my Christmas wish list?

Okay, I have a question...For the wooden snowmen, are the wood pieces already cut to size and shape? I don't have any means of cutting them. I did enjoy last year's workshop so much!

Linda Kay, made a list of materials re wood that is up to date for those who have chosen..am hoping to get most of it cut this weekend..you know me, work the best when under pressure..no pressure really, looking forward to it...

Betty I wish I got as much done in 6 months that you get done in a day! LOL!!

CHECK the 3rd post on this thread and make sure I've added you and also the # of the project you want to do...soon starting the cutting and packaging process...don't want to forget anyone...

Stacey, not so sure having various stores open 24/7..did the Outlets on Birch Run, Main Street in Frankenmuth and Bonners of course..on our way home think we stopped almost at every exit to see what stores were there...

Wonder why we got home at 4am Monday morning? The trunk was full, under our feet, under the seats, between each of us and some on our knees..talk about cramped..but all was well, loved it..

I gave up purchasing several items because there would be no room..knowing I'm off to Buffalo and doing a large craft show with over 250 vendors on Nov. 6th thought I'd best keep some $$$...lol..

Don't get me wrong, did get some treasures...

Stacey, even ran into a painting pal from Barrie here..neither of us knew we were going let alone the same weekend..imagine our surprise... later that day we were in a restaurant and who was there Pam again..lol..had she been in our travelling group most likely I'd never have found her with so many people..guess the weather played a big part in the numbers walking the streets and out on fall color tours...

As always, I did enjoy it..

LOL Crissy, I've mega stamina and I guess I find all of this play and not work..doesn't take as long as you'd think..got commercial scroll saw - 20" neck and band saw..as long as I keep my fingers in when using the band saw to shop edges to look antique then maybe I'm ok...ooops maybe I shouldn't have put a new blade on just jet...

Betty, mark me down for one more, #3, please. I think this would make a great Christmas gift for my DD. Check will go out this week.

Glad you enjoyed Frankenmuth. You had a great weekend for the trip. Colors are just changing here and this weekend should be peak.

Tell me, are peices attached with glue or nails? Just curious.

Wow Betty, I just checked the list and it looks like there are a lot of us!!!! Is there any way we can help you get this going?
I don't have a big supply of paints. Are there some basic colors I should get? Also, what type of paint? I think Norm wants to make this himself. And that would be good for him!!
